Ram Teases 2025 2500/3500 Heavy Duty Pickups at Yellowstone
Yellowstone Dutton Ranch Looks to Preview Reveal...
Ram Trucks is building excitement for its 2025 Ram 2500/3500 Heavy Duty pickups with a teaser campaign that pays homage to the Yellowstone TV series. Over the weekend, Ram released a 15-second video featuring what appears to be the updated 2025 Ram 2500 Rebel and a close-up of a door panel with chrome R-A-M lettering hinting at probably the Ram 3500 Limited. The trucks were shown navigating rugged terrain in Montana, evoking the series’ iconic setting.
Yellowstone, which concluded its run as the most-watched TV show in 2022 with nearly 16 million viewers, has prominently featured Ram trucks throughout its storyline. From Kevin Costner’s John Dutton to Cole Hauser’s Rip Wheeler to Luke Grimes’ Kacey Dutton, the characters of Yellowstone often relied on Ram vehicles, making the brand a natural fit for the series.
A Unique Reveal Strategy –
Ram plans to officially unveil the 2025 Ram 2500/3500 lineup on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025, three days ahead of the Detroit Auto Show’s media day. This early reveal continues Ram’s trend of showcasing new models on its own terms, avoiding competition for attention during major automotive events.
The teaser video includes the line, “In a place like Yellowstone, the land tests everything,” setting the tone for the rugged capabilities the updated Heavy Duty trucks are expected to deliver.
What’s New for 2025? –
While the exterior updates appear to be minor, the 2025 Ram 2500/3500 Heavy Duty trucks are set to receive significant mechanical improvements. The biggest change is under the hood, where an updated 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel I6 engine will be paired with a new ZF-sourced 8-speed PowerLine™ automatic transmission. This combination promises enhanced performance and efficiency for Ram’s flagship workhorses.
A Nod to Tradition and Innovation –
By tying its reveal to the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, Ram is embracing its heritage while looking to the future. Fans of both the series and the trucks can expect a blend of familiar ruggedness with cutting-edge updates when the lineup is unveiled
