Ram Brazil Kicks Off Its New “Ram Arena” Event In São Paulo!
First Of Many Events To Come...
This weekend, Ram Brazil is promoting its new “Ram Arena” in São Paulo. The event is setup up to showcase the strength, capacity, luxury, and technology of the Ram 1500 Rebel and the recently launched Ram 3500 Laramie and Limited Longhorn.
An off-road course was set up with various obstacles, where fans can feel the power of either the 377 horsepower 6.7-liter Cummins® inline-six-cylinder turbodiesel in the Ram 3500 or the 400 horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI V8 in the Ram 1500 Rebel. The Cummins makes the Ram 3500 the most powerful diesel pickup on the market in Brazil, showcasing an amazing 1,150 N⋅m (850 lb.-ft.) of torque. The Ram 1500 Rebel is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 6.4 seconds and was awarded the 2022 “Pickup of the Year” award by Autoesporte magazine.
Ram Arena will have demonstrations of the Ram 3500’s towing capacity, by towing 30-foot long horse trailers, provided by Paiva Trailers. Ram will showcase its fifth-wheel capability, as the new Ram 3500 Limited Longhorn can tow up to 9,021 kg (19,888 lbs), the largest towing number in its segment.
In addition, Ram will have a showroom of various trucks on display, where a specialist can demonstrate the vehicles and answer questions from potential buyers and enthusiasts. There they can show off things like the noble materials used throughout the cabins of the trucks, such as genuine and certified leather and wood, front seats with electrical adjustments, the 12-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system, and Harman Kardon audio with active noise cancellation.
Fans will also be able to purchase the newest Ram gear at “The Ram Store”. Among the items available are country-themed shirts of the Ram 3500 Limited Longhorn, leather boots, and even cutlery items.
The Ram Arena will also make its way to other cities in Brazil, which dates being announced in the future on the Ram Brazil social media accounts. Following safety and prevention protocols put in place by the local legislation to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the event is open to the public, but it is limited to reservations to help distance people. The São Paulo is scheduled for this weekend, as well as the 13th, 14th, and 15th of May. To register, visit the website reservasram.com.br.
