Your gun is poop

So I think I found the issue with the hard recoil
Buffer is 2 1/8" not counting the rubber stopper at the end. Weighs 2.8 oz. And it looks well used. Head is 17/64". Tube is 5 3/8" inside length

BCG is 12.1 oz.

Thanks, but I think I need a whole new system.
Watched a few videos from blowback 9. Seems I have a buffer system for a gas blowback AR 15, not a AR 9 system.
Total BCG and buffer is 15 oz. He says you need between 22 and 24 oz. So I'm thinking about 10oz buffer which will put me just over 22 oz

He is the guy that knows the most about it

Ar9 can shoot soft and be a pleasure to shoot once you get them right. I had an ar9 a long time ago that kicked so much. It really wasn’t all that fun to shoot and it turned me off of them for a long time. Blowback9 has all the info to get it right.

Looking for a little help.
I have a first gen Winchester model 74 in 22 short. Got from a long time family friend when he passed away. The rifle shoots beautifully and is accurate as hell. But I'm having a issue with brass ejection. Seems I get a lot of failure to eject jams.
From the best I can tell, the ejector pin on the feeder is just plan wore down.
I've been trying to find a replacement but am having issues. I have found a few on eBay, but they are either for 22 long or not labeled. I did find one website that has one listed as fits all 22s. But I'm not sure if that is correct.
So looking for some help in finding the right part as I'd like to continue shooting it rather than making a wall hanger out of it. So any help or ideas are appreciated.
I have thought of trying to bend the ejector over a bit so it will work better, but am afraid of breaking it. This is not the 2nd gen which has a bolt on ejector.

I wouldn't think it'd make much difference in 22long vs 22short since the rim is the same diameter?

Any update on issues with the Gforce? I found a few online and even 1 locally, but your issues have kinda scared me off of it.

Sent it back to the manufacturer for repairs. I'll report when I get it back and what happened.
I tried lifting the extractor spring and opening the slide/action but the slide/action would not budge. So I'm pretty sure it's not a stuck brass. I looked down the barrel and the brass seems to be in tact and not deformed.
I did try putting a metal rod down the barrel and hammering on it while trying to cycle it and it would not budge. So something came loose inside and jammed it.

I understand rim being the same dia, but they are different lengths, so is the part different? I don't know. The barrel is stamped 22 short, so im thinking it will only shoot shorts. I haven't tried a long. I have a bolt action that shoots all three 22s.

Can you share a picture? All I can find online are "newer" ones.

Found this used one on eBay.
Magazine tube feeds in from the left. Barrel would be on the right
The little hook you see in the middle top is the ejector. Second Gen ones the ejector bolts on to this piece

My usual conceal is a Ruger SR9c. Small, light, accurate, always goes bang. What more could you ask for?

Not gonna get into politics, but there’s plenty of non-right wingers out here with guns and knives.
And some of them were and still are Marines... AND, I will never own a direct impingement weapon. Nope, all garand, all the time for long guns. "NEVER" let me down. I got STUCK with one of the first POS's in the early 1970's and hate them with a passion... 248 rifle range M14, barely marksman with the POS. I must admit it made a decent hose though...till it jammed...

What if you used a stone or a fine file to sharpen the edge a little? You can make it grab the case better. I'd be afraid to try bending anything, but sometimes just a lil more bite is all it takes.

My turn to have a broken gun. My M&P didn’t function today in the woods. luckily recreational use. Very very light primer strikes almost not noticeable marks. I’m assuming it needs to actually be fully taken apart and cleaned. I only shoot it suppressed.

I compared it to a cleaner, newer, working m&p and the striker, channel and spring all look the same. I’ll report back what I find.

Black no worky / FDE worky

Pulled the striker out and cleaned the striker channel really well. I believe it is fixed now.
