Your gun is poop

I’m still enjoying this 5.7 (extra spicy 22) this setup is hearing safe but 1600fps 40gr Vmax still crack loud enough that if I missed a fleshy target that target would definitely still know they’re being shot at.

FYI I’m not having any luck with 62gr fiocchi subsonics cycling but they’re Hollywood quiet through the titanium tubed whisper pickle

How has the 5.7 Rock been? I've never had a PSA product before but have been eyeing a few uppers and a Dagger.

I love my ACOG! Though I run an Aimpoint on my goto Noveske rifle.

Is it a Jesus ACOG?

I have a TA31 Red Chevron with JN8:12
No unfortunately it doesn't have the Verse on it.

Don't get me wrong the ACOG is cool - but the Chevron reticle bloomed bad with my crappy eyes. Also my AR doesn't really like lighter bullets like the M193 and keeping the ACOG with a reticle calibrated just for it didn't make much sense.

The little illuminated dot on the Vortex doesn't bloom at all and doesn't wash out the rest of the reticle so it works much better for my eyes. The MOA hashes on the rest of the reticle actually lay out really well for predictable drops using a 50 yard zero and 77 grain ammunition. With the height over bore of the optic my POI should be within 2-3 inches of POA depending on range from point blank all the way out to 200 yards. Although I plan on zeroing the RMR for much closer distances.

We'll see how it goes. I'm still learning very much but I find it very interesting!

Welp I sold my 5.7. I was enjoying it but sometimes I gotta let something go for one reason or another.

Installed a Tinney Alpha trigger in my 19 gen 3.
Today I did some polishing on all parts that come in contact with each other. Did the chamber where the casing sits, ramp, trigger safety button and firing pin.
On the trigger, anything that touched another metal part got polished.
Used Mother's metal polish and a dremil. Took about an hour, start to finish. That includes tear down and assembly.

So my cousin also brought me a piece of our family history??
A 1939 Remingiton Target Master 510 single shot bolt action .22
Our Grandfather bought the rifle for my Uncle/His dad as a first rifle. Then my Uncle ran away from hone a few years later and snuck into the Navy at 17 for WW II.
It's got a few bangs and dings. A couple of screws in the stock from where it broke. And a Winchester butt plate. But it shoots nice. .22 short, .22 long, and .22 long rifle.

Only thing I'm doing to it is cleaning it up good and take it out shooting every time I go.
