So.. I just have to share.
I was under my truck yesterday looking at the mounting area for step bars as I'm looking at the AMP power step and Rough Country's version. As I was under there, I was just amazed at the number of wires and connectors everywhere! I came from a 2009 BigHorn 1500 that was decently equipped but still pretty basic compared to my new 2023 Bighorn 2500.
First thing I noticed was an odd (to me) device right under the driver side with a wire plugged into it. I'm thinking to myself "What the heck is this thing?" Well, google image search came to my rescue and I found out is a "Damper" or also called ATMM Actuator. I am still not completely sure what this thing does... lol.
I decided to look under my hood and right away there is a little bundle of wires by the in the back that I have no clue what they're for. I'll have to get a picture of those too and hope google can help me out.
It's been interesting with all this tech.
