The majority of the Mark Dodge buyers on here (and Granger as well) probably went through the same steps/emotions ...oh - some dealers is offering a deal too good to be true - yeah right...well, seems like a lot of posters keep vouching for them, maybe I'll reach out...contacted them and nothing seems sketchy/out of place, order placed...truck shows up and some drive down, some fly down and some have it shipped. Price checks out. Back in 2021/2022 the price protection really made a big difference, MSRPs were increasing $1k/month almost, just about everybody's truck was delivered with a MSRP of a couple grand higher than when it was ordered, but the buyers still paid based upon the original price
They were also offering this same "discount" back during the covid years when trucks were in stupid short supply and dealers were adding market adjustments of $5-15k over MSRP.
I have a couple local dealers that are normally pretty competitive, when I showed them the Mark Dodge price, they laughed at me and said there was no way I could buy a truck at that...now those dealers have come back down to reality and are back being competitive again. All depends on what path you want to take
