I have a 2019 tradesman. I removed the passenger side tail light and can only see the bottom ball stud which is attached to the bracket on the tailgate. There is no top ball stud. Does the top ball ball stud come with the OEM piston?

Thats the top one your seeing the lower one is way down at the bottom

Adding the OEM hidden tailgate strut to any trim.

This thread is for adding the OEM tailgate strut/damper to any trim that doesn't have it. Many of the searches bring up the aftermarket Deezee type stuff, but the best (IMO) way to do this cheap and easy mod is to use the hidden OEM version. The part number you will need is 68362518AA As of...

Im just more amazed by how many dealers miss that on the pdi especially since they have to fill the truck before handing the keys over lol, i put the cheap amazon one on mainly incase the wife takes it some odd occasion and has to put fuel in it lol
 
My truck gets waxed about 4 times a year but I wash it every day through my local touch car wash ugh I hate it but it’s a black truck and I like it clean

I salute you for your diligence and your indefatigable OCD. :) Ain't no way I could buy a black truck without regretting it. You probably unknowingly sell a lot of guys on black trucks who later regret it. :D I had a buddy who got wore out trying to keep up with his black truck.

I have a shop where my father and I can put anything on our lift and do what we need for our toys, it is a blessing to have and I don’t take it for granted.

Toy storage and the MANCAVE all are welcome to use what I have to get what’s needed done! FYI to all people in MN free and warm even in -23 degrees it’s always 70 winter and summer! The hang out area is great for late nights haha

Up here in sunny Alberta it a balmy -37 with wind chills of up to -50:mad:. Had to flash the stove this morning just to find the junk:p.
