What did you do TO your RAM today?

what I did to my rig today was not physical, well at least not yet anyway, just pure preventive maintenance love. Everybody talks about using the ceramic coating on there rides to protect and shine like no other. So I decided to venture outside my normal mguirers primo wax wich had always looked great I thought until I saw some ceramic pics on here. I've been talking to torque about there product. Last wk they sent me a 24hr 20% off coupon, then it went away. 3 days later they sent me a free s&h coupon, then it went away. This morning they reached out to me and asked what do we have to do to earn your buisness. I told them to combine the 20% off and free s&h offers together and ill punch in my cc#. They bit and we signed, this is what i picked hopefully it's good, still expensive for an 8 oz bottle but $31.96 is way better than $45. Once again, being an ole lonely and very patient buyer, pays off.
Now y'all want me to negotiate with naviks for us;):p:rolleyes::eek:o_O, i guess I need to say if the emojis don't translate, just kiddddingggg, jeeshhhhhhView attachment 7493

it's via enroute through Amazon. Should be here by Friday but honestly i have no idea when I'm going to get to it. I'll have to wash and dry first then go back and triple check that i didn't miss any spotted water or a big gut. Must be perfection before applying. They have been sending me all kinds of how to videos since I made the purchase and it looks very simple. Spray it on, wipe it with a clean micro fiber then go back and wipe down again. It doesn't look like putting wax on where you have to spread it evenly, rub it in evenly, wait so long then wipe twice while going through several rags while the wax builds up on your rags. But everything looks easy in a promo on u tube video. But I'm optimistic. The key is supposed to be the prep, get it perfect before application. Supposed to last 6 months. I will definitely keep all posted when I start to take on the two day job, at least for me. Wish I could do it all in one day like you should but it takes me hours just to wash that big ole tank. I honestly hope that i see the difference that everyone has bragged about

I did the same thing but with Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions ceramic. After watching Project Farms review on waxes I figured it was a good buy.

Does anyone know if the 2020 1500 rear bumpers are a bolt-on for 2500s? I love the look of the dual rear exhaust on the 1500 and would love it if I could adapt one to my 2020 2500.

Thanks!

I’m also a big fan of modern day Turtle Wax products. I put the Ceramic Hybrid on my 1500 and Ice Seal & Shine on my 2500. They’re both awesome performers. Of course I also buy a bunch of other brands that I don’t need... to junk up the garage shelves so I have something else to complain about !!

I use their Ceramic car wash on our travel trailer and it’s amazing. It doesn’t produce a lot of heavy foam, even in a foam cannon but it gets the job done. The product is great because the trailer is almost 37’ so hand waxing would take days, wash and wax all in one step makes it easy. The performance period doesn’t last as long as their spray on waxes but it does what I want it to do which is shed water quickly.

That's why it takes me two wks to do my 35'er. Only Do a section a day. I use mcguires with carnuba wash and wax and then carnuba premium wax gold. To old to do all that at once, gotta break it down

I have a Thuren leveling kit and Fuel Contra rims/Ridge Grappler tires all getting installed on 10/13. Pics to follow!

Nice - this would be a "white whale" type mod for us Power Wagon folks. Was it pretty resource/labor intensive?

Not bad. Big issue is the wiring for the ports.

I started a post for this:

Adjusted the front bands on my 2007.

Been tracking my 2020 on Sirius Guardian. It is on a truck cruising all around Texas right now. Hope the heck it get's out of there before Hurricane Delta gets close. It is very hard for me to resist trying to make it honk the horn and flash the lights from the app!
