What did you do TO your RAM today?

My brother has those on his Tacoma and likes them.

I was wondering, what happens if you are off-roading and need to stop and get out with a rock or log under your door?

Does the step try to deploy, hits the object, then automatically retract?
When I lived in Alaska, a buddy of mine had issues with ice packing up around and freezing his Amps in place and they wouldn't extend.

I just unplug mine whenever I need the extra clearance. Or if I'm working under the dash.

Wasn't just today but during the last couple of weeks I've had new Mopar HD mud flaps installed,
and then the AMP RESEARCH Extreme running boards to replace the factory boards.

So far I'm well pleased with the changes, the mud flaps are keep a lot of the winter slop off the truck, The steps go a couple of inches lower to the ground, they just about evenly split the step up in half which works quite well.

AMP steps are awesome just make sure you keep them clean and get ya a can of some dry lube I personally use PB-Blaster dry film its a little on the expensive side. But it works great!!

Nothing serious done on the Ram, oil, oil filter, air filter and using the Donaldson oil filter Mbarber mentiond, funny story I was the first guy asking for this in Australia, waited 4,5months for Donaldson Australia to get them. Knowing that before hand I ordered 10.
But what I really done was going out to the Sydney Power Cruise weekend and its the first time since I owned my truck driving in pouring down rain.

I went to the Discount Tire store that sold me my original set of Milestar Patagonia X/Ts to get two new ones since they sent me down the road on tires that required 11 and 15 ounces to balance, and weren't balanced. I also went from 17x9 0mm offset American Racing rims to 17x8.5 +25mm Nomad rims.

They told me that the replacement tires only took an average of 3 ounces to balance and the highest was 5 ounces. Install went fine and they were nice, but the truck still has a vibration, although better than it was with their first balance attempt, still not as smooth as the local shop's balance job. No idea why that particular DT cannot balance truck tires to save their lives.

But, the rubbing is gone and the tires are well within the fender flares. Very happy with the new look!
