What did you do TO your RAM today?

Today i installed my softopper camper cover. Everything went together smoothly.

Looks great! I have a black one on mine and I have been considering a grille gaurd as well. I think that the topper and guard combo make the truck look super rugged. The rims and tires also help

Which brush guard is that and do you have any head on views of it?
It’s a ranch hand grill guard i am very happy with my setup I’m going camping in Freeport Texas Monday can’t wait. Here’s a head on view.

As far as what did I do to the Ram…. After reading a thread about tire pressure, I lowered my pressures to 55 front and 58 rear. The change in the ride is very noticeable. The small bumps from thinks like seams in concrete are significantly reduced. Over all the ride is clearly more smooth.

Im not towing anything heavy and wanted to experiment with how low I can run them without causing unnecessary tread wear and a large reduction in fuel economy. If there isnt any adverse effect then they will stay at 55/58 of maybe even go to 53/55 cold.
I run my powerwagon @ 50 psi all the time. No strange wear patterns .
 
I was running the 60/65 on the door sticker and the chattery small bumps could be harsh once the tires were up to operating temp / pressure. I was developing a little bit of outside edge wear on the fronts. Not sure if it was the high pressure or the way I drive.

Well I did just a tiny thing on mine today, the 12V receptacle in the top of the center stack was wired direct to battery so i did the real simple move of the fuse from F90 to F91.
Now it's on the ignition side and my dash cam isn't powered on all the time.

I tapped into a switched wire in the upper console and ran the wire out of the front of it at the top of the windshield.
 
I haven't bothered to hard wire mine it's just plugged into the power outlet with the excess cord wrapped around the mirror stalk to keep it out of the way.

I stuck with the recommended format where pressures that are higher in the rear. The difference was 5 pounds. Now I have it at 3. I may try it at the same with the next tank of gas.

That's because that pressure is for the fully laden truck, in which the rear loading will go up much more then the front. As most of the load will be carried by the rear axle, while an unladen truck is much more loaded in the front because of the engine weight and an empty box.

Go weigh your truck and see what your tires need for pressure, it takes any guessing out of the equation.

You didn’t mention what your truck is and your sig isn’t filled out, so just some ballpark numbers.

Gas or diesel I’ve ran 35 in the rears of all my Dodge/Ram’s empty and have carrying capacity to spare.

The diesels got 50-55 empty and the Hemi gets 40-45 in the front axle, also with capacity to spare for most day to day activities I might encounter.

Its a hemi, crew cab short bed. Also, thanks for the advice gents! I have a friend who has some scales.
