What did you do TO your RAM today?

So, yesterday I hooked up the hitch, Andersen Ultimate, to the new truck, and then hitched the 5th wheel to check the fit. We have a trip coming up and have been worrying about it. My previous truck was very similar Laramie 3500, 8' bed but SRW. I was not sure if this new Dually would sit higher/lower, but happy to report it appears to be about the same. I then discovered this nifty new gismo, to me anyway, called a light check on the trailer page. Push this button and it checks all the lights on the truck/camper, and it keeps on doing it until you manually turn it off. My wife complained I didn't need her anymore!

You can even set it to auto so every time you plug in it kicks off the light check so you don't have to go in to start it! its the little things in life :) Hope you have a smooth trip with the new rig!
Wish my 2020 had this feature, would make life easier for sure instead of the obligatory light check every time we hook-up.:(

My 2021 just asks me to enter what kind of trailer it is, so I don't think my 2021 has this feature either but even if It did I think I prefer a physical check as well as a walk around.
Your truck should have it, I have it on my very early 2021. All it does is cycle the running lights, brake lights, and turn signals so you don’t have to keep running back and forth changing them in your truck as you walk around and physically look at your lights to check them.

Oil change (PUP + WIX), and some new shoes (275/70R18 BFG KO3s)

These tires feel so much more supple and confidence-inspiring than the Transforce "ATs". Heading out to the lake this weekend, and I'll drag my camper out on the beach. We'll see how they test in those conditions, but 1000% more tread for that task compared to what I had on there before. As a bonus, the truck looks better too.View attachment 90180
What air pressure are you running in those KO3s?

my 2021 has it as well. Built in February of 2021

Look around for "trailer light check" it was in the towing section of my '22 and its in the trailer settings of my '25 (pretty sure only had half a cup of coffee though this morning)

Weather is changing fast up here up North, so washed the truck the other day and stopped before work to take some glamour shots of her before the rain and snow hits tonight...

Installed two of the three dash cameras (front facing and interior facing). I had all three including the back facing on my 2022 Ram 1500 Laramie I traded off a couple weeks ago. I need to research a little more on the best way to route the rear facing camera cable. I tapped into constant power and switched put in the overhead light console.

I’m a little late in posting this. Back in August I drove my son from our home in Northern California, to his university in Nebraska for his sophomore year. We took Interstate 80 until the middle of Wyoming and then drove north to Casper. We then took U.S. Highway 20 from Douglass, Wyoming through Northern Nebraska and then down to Lincoln where we stayed at our hotel. I’ve driven through Nebraska several times through the decades but always on Interstate 80. If you haven’t driven on Highway 20, I highly recommend it. It’s a very scenic highway with very little traffic. After a couple of days in Seward, we headed home with a brief stopover in Grand Island to have the oil changed at Anderson Ram. I had a Mopar coupon for two oil changes for the price of $130. Below is a snapshot of my mileage and mpg of my trip. Hand calculated I got 17.2 mpg.

Headed up into the Idaho mountains as the weather was rapidly changing. I spent all day in the woods filming video for my YT channel. I did a video on all of the mods so far on my pickup, a video on the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT tires, and a short video on using the OpenRoad 13.5k winch to pull a tree out of the trail.

Lots of fun and no damage.
