That looks great! Did you cut a lot out, and how did you mount it? I'm looking to mount one like that, but am leery to cut anything too much.

I just cut out enough that the light bar fit, I used a hacksaw blade with tape on it for a handle. if you feel at the top of the lower grill there is small bolts and grooves that you can use to mount the light bar. I used this lightbar with the moveable mounts and swapped out the bolts for the factory ones. I wasn't too worried about cutting this part since it is cheap to replace.

Continued the interior accent mod. This time knocked out the center radio chrome. It’s so nice not having that huge reflection in the front windshield anymore.

it’s a lot darker than the picture seems... keep in mind the dash is black in real life.

I need to pull mine off and do it flat black. I hate that shiny reflective trim.

I may have missed it, but what sort of prep to the surface did you do?

First I glared at it real hard and told it no funny business. Then I wiped it with alcohol but that’s it. I figured it would be an area that doesn’t get a lot of contact. I used rustoleum universal advanced paint + primer, flat burnished amber in color.

Gold/chrome (they are fused) piece separated and masked (black A/C vent surrounds also fused in). Matching driver/passenger AC vent. Will work on speaker surrounds and the front grill letters / chrome lines, but probably end there. Mixed metals, my wife says.

Thanks, bummed the trim parts are fused. The rear console surround pulls right off my limited... ???

Assembled and installed Decked bed storage system. Straightforward assembly and install. Makes it much easier for an old man to access tools and such.

I checked and listed all the Goodyear Tires I need to replace on every vehicle, trailer, etc. that I own. They will be coming off and replaced in the next month. Never again. Looks like it’ll be just 14 tires at this time. Well worth it in my opinion.

It appears Goodyear has tried to back-pedal on their stance stating it was NOT endorsed by their corporate office...

As someone who isn’t usually a fan of unions, I have to agree with them in this case:

He noted that Trump railed against the company before confirming the information he had was factual and that his attack "scares the hell" out of Conner.

I too apologize for derailing the thread.

Let’s get back on topic and discuss what we did to our Ram today.

While it was a few weeks ago, I de-badged the entire truck; looks much cleaner now. I need to get some pics to post here.

Also, I’ve got a buddy who’s big into 3D printing and asked him if he could print me some sort of faux vent panels to replace the 2500/3500 emblems on the hood. I need to pop one out so he can scan it. Possibly this weekend.
