What did you do TO your RAM today?

Great color for a chevy.
House of Kolor Hot Pink pearl. 9" of lift rolling on 37's.

And I drive it as well with no problem. I'm secure in my manhood.

Funny story. Back when I had long hair and beard, I'd kept my hair up in a pony tail so it wouldn't get all twisted when I rode my bike. I'd be driving her truck by the local military base. Young guys coming out of the base would see the truck and come racing trying to catch me. She has personal plates that say HOT BABE. I'd stop at the light and be looking over to the right as they pulled up beside me, so all they saw was my long hair. I'd wait till I figured they were looking and then turn around and catch them. You never seen so many young guys embarrassed and trying to act like they were not looking. I later put a license plate frame on it that said "My other ride is my old man and his Harley". That seemed to fix them as they quit chasing her down. Harley riders would see it and get a big laugh out of it and give her a big thumbs up.

Got my exhaust and tune done! Full EGR upgrade kit where it re-routes the coolant to the back of the head instead of the simple ''block-off plate'' many have used, temps down over 8 degrees celsius.

MPG difference: Before - 13mpg After - 20mpg (these are numbers at 135km/h on a very hill ridden highway called the Coquihalla). City driving still at 20mpg even while being heavy footed enjoying the new power.

Fleece in-tank lift pump fuels substantially faster response and better pressure than stock all while keeping factory lines, location, zero noise and ease of install. 21lbs of fuel vs 11lbs stock at cruising and 15lbs vs stock of 4lbs (scary) WOT.

4'' FLO-PRO SS exhaust w/muffler. Unbelievably resembling stock while cruising on and off highway at all rpm's. Honestly cannot say enough good things about how perfect the sound is for me. With a 10 month old.. drone was something I was very worried about and I could not find any info on what it would sound like (with the muffler). I love the extra turbo whistle and exhaust brake noise, the louder and aggressive rumble at idle and while taking off from a stop. But to say there is no drone and is perfect in cab, but there when you want it is not saying enough. I have had many exhausts on vehicles and this is exactly what I have always wanted.. like a ''stock plus'' sound that you have control over while being near silent when you want it to be. I will attempt to take a couple of videos and post on my build page of this forum as it is hard to put into words and I feel like it is important to give others the insight that I could not find when picking the exhaust. I am so happy about this because it is far different than what I thought I was getting in the best way.. I am serious when I say I was about to buy a second muffler from Donaldson or Flo-Pro prior to install but rest assured if you are going to do the same.. try it just how it comes out of the box first. 0 drone and a clean, deep note is what you can expect from it. Ok my happy review/rant is over about the exhaust lol.

Throttle valve delete (powder coated) to take away the chance of the butterfly valve shutting and also a small increase of flow.

Did you use a tuner or have someone tune it?

It is a very sweet paint job. Any wife that would love a lifted truck has got to be very cool.

You need to get something to tune it, like an EFILIVE or EZLynk device that is capable of having tunes loaded onto it, then you can use that to tune the truck. Unlike what the EPA likes to try to say.. the EZLynk or EFILIVE devices on their own are not delete devices, you need to have tuner (hopefully a professional) load new tuning on.

Thank you for the info. I have had my Camaro remote tuned via HP tuners and a good tuner, it can get kinda sketchy making high RPM pulls for logging. I was just curious if there was canned tunes already installed on the devices.

Remote tuning on the street can be a little scary. I normally do my logs on the street as well but recently tried to do some logs and the car was all over the road. Drag radials and cooler temps dont mix very well!! Due to this I have a dyno appointment on Monday so I can finish up my logs.

For the most part I think our truck tunes are considered to be canned, just load and go!

Hey what brands of parts did you use and which suppliers? I am just over the tall rocky things to the East of you. Sounds like you made it a ton more reliable, so good job on that! Could you post some picks please and did you tune it and any trouble with idiot lights? Thanks and keep your stick on the ice :).

Thanks bud! I have 0 lights and the exhaust brake switch stays active through ignition cycles which is the only light that stays on :p. Check out Dirty Diesel Customs, you can play around with their power package options and also jumble together your own kit. I used a tuner that they do not have on their site but is what many use and have posted videos about.
