I've heard of it but not seen it. I know they talk about it in the news if you watch it, luckily I don't have time to watch television.
True, but sometimes it is actually the dealer, I had to order the tailgate cap for my truck because of the wonderful repair they did on it before delivery…. When I ordered it they said it was on back order and would be 2 weeks, no problem…. 2 months later after hearing nothing from them I decided to give them a call to ask about it, of coarse they said “it will be here tomorrow”, and it was, come to find out it never got ordered in the first place…
did you run a 3rd battery, how did you run your harness? I'm going from a Raptor where i built a 3rd battery with an add afuse and isolator, etc. how is your fridge harness setup? TIA
I have and do use a drain pan and will continue to use a drain pan. I'm not dumping the filter housing on the ground...but when draining the housing INTO my pan, I get lots of spatter everywhere, I've put rags in pan and still get the spatter. The little bit of spatter on the gravel driveway is not going to hurt anything and then I don't have a garage that smells like diesel for an extended time. Remember all those the dirty diesel covered rags currently end in a landfill...
It's 10:40. I just came in and took off my clothes and laid down in bed. My alarm is set for 04:30.Do people look at you funny when you tell them you don't watch TV? I always get a deer in the headlights look when I tell people that, lol. I hate watching most TV, haven't watched the "news" in several years because there's no longer any "real and factual" information, it's 99.9% bull$hit so I just avoid it all together anymore. On the very rare occasion that I sit on the couch to watch TV it is usually something that I DVR'd so I can skip all of the commercials. I have become even more productive since putting down the TV remote and always try to be active doing something rather than just sitting around. And to be honest, these threads are pretty entertaining and are great $hitter reading material

Just did my first service three weeks ago in my garage, but prior to that I bought some clear plastic tubing to fit on the front filter drain, and the same for the rear. Removed the front short factory drain hose so it wouldn't run all over the front axle, and installed and rerouted a longer hose. On the rear filter I cut the hose long enough to reach down to the pan, opened the drain and then loosened the filter housing to help it flow easier. Then I shut the valve off, removed the hose and slipped a one gallon zip lock bag up around the filter housing, then removed with the ratchet wrench, didn't spill any! I read about the bag trick when I had my EcoDiesel, which had a similar rear filter. It works!
At least insurance covers the windshield, or at least mine does. No deductible either.
or... Safelite repair, Safelite replace.
