For the Daystar cradle - did you just align the cradle to the airbag then mark and drill a hole through the lower OEM bumpstop pad to attach the cradle?

I have all the parts, just have not had the time to do exactly what you have done. Thanks!
Basically, yep. I installed the airbag to the frame, placed the cradle on the bump stop, jacked the axle back up to see where they came into contact, marked the cradle and bumpstop pad, lowered the axle, had to remove the airbag for room, put the cradle back on and aligned it to markings, marked the hole to drill, and then drilled it. There may be a better method, but this is what I dI’d.

Details please!

If he did this, IMO it is a pretty horrible hack job... you can just get hose clamps and use those and not cut up what is there... or I'm looking at an electric heater core valve.

Sounds like your mod is worth it’s weight in gold;).

To add to this story... This may in fact be a very beneficial mod. I get to work and my wife texts me to say that Michael from discount tire called and has a question about the tires I ordered. I may have neglected in telling her I was ordering tires and wheels. They had her number stored on my account because we put tires on her car a few years back. May soon get to find out how the back seat sleeps at this rate.

LOL... Discount Tire did the same to me. Turned out all right though. I didn't get banished. Good luck.

Just make sure you post pics of the wheels and tires.

After a year of ownership I finally got around to installing some side steps. I didn’t have a problem with the climb in height but my wife and my son are both shorter than I am and I heard their complaints. Happy wife, happy life. The steps, mounting brackets, and all of the hardware are all stainless steel. The winter road salt in my area will drastically reduce the lifespan of regular steel steps.View attachment 7249View attachment 7250
I BOUGHT THESE AND PLAN ON RHINO LINING THEM
