Mu dealer tried to put one on my truck, and wanted me to pay first it. I told them when I ordered it, I didn't want any extras installed by them. When I found out it was on my bill, I told them NO, and to remove it as I had stated to them in the begging I didn't want it. So they removed it with no cost to me.
I'd complain and make them remove it at their cost. You didn't ask for it to be installed, so you are not responsible to pay the cost of removal of THEIR equipnent.
They tried that when I ordered my Gladiator. We picked all our options, signed the deal for the agreed price, dropped a hefty deposit and waited. When we went to pick up the truck and sign the finalized documents there was $3000 worth of "dealer add-ons" on top of the agreed upon price. Window tint, door edge guards, paint and fabric protection, GPS tracking. When I pointed out that I had not agreed to any of that when I ordered they tried saying that all their stock vehicles receive those when they come in. Well, mf'er, this isn't a dealer stock vehicle. My name is on the factory issued window sticker. I have a signed agreement, a legally binding contract stipulating the sale price and I'm not paying $0.01 over it. I didn't need the truck, it was a 4th vehicle for us anyways. Told him I would walk, go to the next dealer in town and reorder with them and they would be hearing from my lawyer. They removed all the extra charges. I paid the rest in cash just so I wouldn't have to deal with them for financing.
Went out to the truck and removed the OBDII piggy back GPS tracker they installed, walked in to the showroom and tossed in the floor. Made sure to say rather loudly "here's your f'ing GPS tracker back that I never asked for".
