Uconnect 5 FOTA - S21D.5 Release Date 12/22/21

Every morning the top bar on my 8.4 nav that shows clock, temp setting and if the heated seats and wheel are on or off is blank except for clock and I have to switch between any 2 themes to get everything to show back up.
 
Got in 2022 this morning and I see I have engine temp and oil pressure back on Off Road App. Now my weather app won't load. Man Uconnect5 is glitchy!
 
There is a weather app? Not sure if i have that on my 22 PW. Is it included with UC?
 
So, I'm not getting any notification to update my system nor do I see where to force the update. I went to Uconnect site and plugged in my VIN, but it states my veh is up to date. I currently have S21B.5 and according to the bulletin it applies to my 2022 D2. I have the box checked for software updates over WiFi. Am I missing something? BTW, UC5 was horrible on my 900mi trip back from picking it up.
 
Anybody swapped out for the Phoenix automotive head unit yet?

I purposely got the 5 because I planned to upgrade but was wondering if anyone had done it yet.

I wonder how well it integrates with all of the factory features like the factory dash would. I also wonder how truly glitch free it will be? It's kinda sad if the aftermarket already has a more reliable solution. I mean all of the glitches so far seem to be software related and not a hardware issue, ram needs better software peeps!

It also sucks how useless ramcares is and how little real help they can actually offer as others have mentioned. I am pretty fed up with having to take 10-15min trying the reset my stupid 12" UC5 every other day because it decides to lock up and have the black screen of death, just what you should come to expect from an over $80k truck... It happened again today, had to do the reboot literally 6 times to get the screen to come back on
 
How do I get my truck to do the updates? I’ve checked the updates over wifi box but it hasn’t done any since I got it last week. It’s connected to my home wifi every night.
 
Wish I could answer that. Mine has done one update automatically and when it did it said it one the screen after it started up. There seems to be a new update available but it hasn't updated yet and I have no idea of how to force it other than to have the dealer do the update
 
I tried to update a couple of days ago through home & vehicle wifi, it scans but no update is shown. I did stop by the dealership with 72 miles due to black screen/wavy screen; after that I've had no issues what so ever.
 
Do you know what they did? Would you mind snapping a pic of what version you have now
