Have they tried anything?I have, but haven't had the issue resolved yet
Lucky you. My dealer don't know what to do.just got back from the dealership and they said it was the hub and they ordered one....they told me they would also be replacing both key fobs at the same time. I told the service writer this was apparently a known issue and so far no remedies and he just said he would call me when the hub came in..
it does not mean it will workLucky you. My dealer don't know what to do.

Can you start your truck with the start button by the steering wheel and then get out and lock it with fob while it's still running?I have cab lights. I have only had an issue pressing the unlock button one time and that was when I was holding my phone and key fob in the same hand. I have passive entry but I usually do a mix of passive vs pressing the key fob to unlock. I did have one thing that surprised me. The truck would not let me use the button on the door handle to lock it because my keys were inside the house. I knew it wouldn't lock when the keys are inside the cab but I expected it to lock if the keys were not present. Not a big deal.
Just checked mine and it was also built in July 2020My truck was also built in July of 2020, and no I haven’t taken it in to the dealer yet. Theres no point for me to until someone here gets theirs successfully fixed. I don’t have a dealer where I am at and have to take it out of town to gwt it looked at. That being said, I’m not wasting a day of work to have them tell me they couldn’t reproduce the fault or that they dont know what it is. I have been getting by with holding the fob button longer and just wait for it to unlock, which seems to work well wnuff for me for now.
I know I have used remote start, unlocked it, and then relocked it with the fob. I don't think I have tried it after using the start button yet, I will check later today. Can you start your truck with the start button by the steering wheel and then get out and lock it with fob while it's still running?

I’ll just direct this @RamCares, since I know they check in on this thread, and I’m going to assume they are talking about the power tailgate release or remote tailgate release. Power tailgate release is standard on every single 2019+ HD Ram...Period. There is no other configuration to get the tailgate open on a 2019+ HD Ram, except via the power tailgate release switch on the handle. This member, kristof, has a 2020 HD Ram.Just got an email from chrysler customer service and they keep telling me to delete "power lift release gate" what the heck is a "power lift release gate"? How do I delete it? I explained them numerous times the gate release just works.

RamCares knows about my issue since we exchanged messages and they opened the ticket with engineering department. They are the ones who said Mopar is a aftermarket stuff and I'm on my own.I’ll just direct this @RamCares, since I know they check in on this thread, and I’m going to assume they are talking about the power tailgate release or remote tailgate release. Remote tailgate release is active in every single RF Hub on a 2019+ HD Ram. EVEN IF you don’t have the JKR sales code on the VIN build configuration, remote tailgate release will work if there is a fob programmed to the truck that has the tailgate release button on it. There is no way to “delete this from happening”. He has both a working tailgate release switch on the handle, and working remote tailgate release button on the fob, and does not have sales code JKR added as a dealer installed option.
The issue he is having is the same as everyone else is having that has factory remote start, which I know Ram is aware of. There is no other scapegoat to pin this issue on.
We would be happy to assist alongside your dealer services, @Diversified industrial. If further support is needed while working to resolve this concern, please send us a private message to be connected to a specialist. Thank you!Mine has been in . They claimed they couldn't duplicate the problem. My exact reply was ********! The service manager then said he would go check it himself and call me right back. An hour later he agreed there was an issue and said he would look into it and attempt to fix it when I bring it back to have parts installed for other issues. However this is the same guy that drove it into the shop , then argued briefly with me that it was a diesel. I responded with if it's a diesel I somehow got it to run on gas for 4500 mi.
Hi @jadmt, we are happy to hear that action is being taken by your dealer to reach a hopeful resolution! Please keep us posted on your service and let us know if further assistance is needed.
