Absolutely. Are you able to lock it from outside while it's running?

I don't know. It looks like I might have to take it to the dealer. Which I would like to avoid BTWAbsolutely.
Do it all the time.
How about seeing if you can replicate that with remote start removed. Set VehConfig 1 remote start present to NO. Disconnect batteries for 15 minutes and reconnect. Do a drive cycle. Make sure remote start is inoperable. See if you can make lock/unlock from the fob not work while the truck is running.Yes. Truck started with push button and me outside the truck

We can do that too, if you want. PM me, and we’ll set something up.Jimmy since you live not for from me would you like me to come over and you can check it out?![]()
I would say schedule an appointment for warranty work, and bring them all the fobs you have.Okay. I disabled the remote. Disconnected battery for almost half hour. Tried remote and it didn't work so it's disabled. Tried both new fob and original and still the same. Sometimes truck lock/unlock immediately but most of the time it takes few tries

Should I tell them I installed the remote starter?I would say schedule an appointment for warranty work, and bring them all the fobs you have.
I do believe that people who make modifications to their vehicles, and problems arise as a result of those modifications, should be on the hook for them. That being said, I know for a fact that adding the hood latch/wiring and enabling remote start has nothing to do with your issue, especially since several people with factory equipped remote start are having the same issue. Keep it simple, and explain the issue you’re having with the fobs while the truck is running. The more unnecessary information you give them, the more they’ll play the game to use it against you for an easy out. Ask them if they think it’s an issue with the rf hub, and if it might need to be reset. Explain to them exactly what’s happening, and that you can replicate it for them. The more informed you sound to them, the less likely they’ll try to feed you some BS like they would to some little old lady trying to get an oil change.Should I tell them I installed the remote starter?

The dealer installed it about 3 weeks after getting the truck. The begin of October. Parts were on backorder. It was the new 4 button style. Even tried changing the batteries no helpWhen you had yours installed? Also which remote they gave you? Is it this one View attachment 8373
I dropped off my car at dealer today. Of course truck behaved like nothing happened. Only one time he was able to notice he had to press it twice to unlock itThe dealer installed it about 3 weeks after getting the truck. The begin of October. Parts were on backorder. Hopefully they will not tell me they could not replicate the problem and to them the truck seems fine. Just in case I spoke to RAM and they told me if dealer won't fix it to contact them and they will start a case. With the truck running, the poor lock and unlock performance is there weather or not my remote start was used to start the truck. I find if I want the doors to lock/unlock, I am better off holding down the fob button and waiting, sometimes for 3 or so seconds, instead of pressing it multiple times when it isn't responding. I am going to try to get my truck in hopefully within the next two weeks. Also I will say this again for Kristof, there is nothing you did to make yours perform poorly. Mine is 100 Percent factory, no mods whatsoever, and my remote start was built with the truck from factory. As a matter of fact, I am actually holding off on putting in the oem LED Headlamps that I ordered, just in case the dealer wants to blame my installation on messing up the remote start. Mine has been acting like crap since day one. Also My remotes are the same as Gcash81001's. 4 button.
