There isn’t. All the remote start settings are correct in the BCM, and AlfaOBD can’t make changes or reset the rf hub.

That is a service procedure for the tech tech to work on your truck with absolutely no possible way to accidentally remote start the truck until it is driven over 10 mph. When you select enable, it will show that it’s already enabled. When you select disable, it will disable the remote start until you drive the truck again.

I'm going thru all the options in AlfaOBD and trying to remember which option I might have changed. So now
1. VehConfig8: Wired remote start present . Should be set to YES or NO?
2. CBC Vehicle Theft Alarm (VTA) Hood Ajar Monitoring YES or NO?
3. CBC Vehicle Theft Alarm (VTA) Hood Ajar Monitoring (some BCM soft versions) Yes or NO?
4. CBC Config I/0 Usage: Hood Ajar Switch Signal Usage YES or NO?
Also what is the LOG RECORDING in AlfaOBD? Where can I find it?

VehConfig 8 wired remote start- NO- this is for C&C trucks with PTO
CBC VTA (both)- NO, unless you have the VTA enabled, and want the alarm to sound if the hood is breached
CBC Config I/O Hood ajar switch...- not a yes or no, but should be set to 1k ohm resistor.
Log recording is toggled on in settings, and will log your changes for each session.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your comment but I lock my truck with the fob while running all the time. It's supposed to work that way.
Are you able to lock it from outside while it's running?

No, that can’t be done. For the above ^ - yes, the truck can be locked from outside with the fob while the truck is running.
Not my truck. I tried that last night. Once I get out of the vehicle while it's running it gives me message "Key have left he vehicle" and I can't lock it either with fob or the button on the door
When the truck is running, it is normal behavior for the cluster to display fob has left the vehicle when you exit the vehicle with the fob. It is also normal for the lock button on the inside door master switch to be disabled when the door is open with the truck running. If the truck is running, and you exit the vehicle with the fob and close the door, a normally functioning truck will allow you to lock the doors with the fob.
I would say if you can consistently replicate not being able to lock the truck while it is running with one of the original fobs, then that should be a warranty issue that can’t be tied to the fact that you installed remote start.

Yes. Truck started with push button and me outside the truck
