TPMS (TIS) sensors for trailer (SOLVED - see 1st post) aka TTPMS - Trailer TPMS

Keep getting this error. Do I choose 2019 or 2020. Mine is a 2019

Are you certain you have the bypass plugged into the correct CAN blocks?

Are you able to connect using 2019?

The reason you're trying 2020 is to get the extra options that are not present in the 2019 selection.

Now question. I’ve already installed the DT Tazer as well, and it came with a very similar cable. Could I plug into that one or does it need to be this cable too into other ports.

Ah, that changes things. You may not have needed the KoadTech cable if you have a security bypass with the Tazer. Lots more info in the AlphaOBD threads and we probably should try to keep this Trailer TPMS thread on topic.

I have absolutely no clue what your options are with the Tazer. I'd work on getting the OBD reader to work first. If you have Android, download the Torque app. Unless the Tazer has an app?
 
Well thought I enabled it tonight. But still nothing in the cluster dash.
Went through same steps again 2 hours later and step 11 VehConfig 8-trailer TPM gone. Now what?

Make sure that you have the setting like the picture below.

Thanks for all the work guys, i really appreciate it!

My trucks not here yet, but i'll be ordering up the needed parts as soon as it is. I was really peeved that the TTPMS option wasn't presented when I built my truck (i ordered when it was available, my dealer just missed it and I assumed it was part of the Tow Tech package since it wasn't listed separately online). Once I install this, I'll have the exact truck I expected when I started this.
 
Think that’s what all of us want is what we were told or promised. I still have my brochure that I marked telling them I want and he said sure. It’s a great feature. Along with the trailer camera option. Still holding breath for that since heard camera isn’t good quality.

Hoff, were you able to work through the alphaOBD setup and get it enabled?

Looks like we’ve got it all figured out, but has anyone who added the system on actually paired pressure sensors yet?
