Ok, I'm putting a tool bag together that will live in the back of my truck... this is what I have so far. What else do you recommend? What am I missing? (Not pictured: duct tape and wire).

I don’t think a single one of those fuses you have there will work in the truck. May want to check.

Why is that? Do they take special fuses? I have a box of standard automotive fuses, and a box of the miniature fuses there. What else should I get?

I have full a full socket set, full wrench set including several size crescents, full screw driver set, full plier set including vice grips, tape, wire, zip ties, a couple knives, and gloves, I also carry my power tools, such as an impact, drill, and angle grinder. Along with recovery straps. Some of these tools I use for work, so I would be carrying them anyway. I keep all of this in an 18cuft toolbox

Subject change…is that a custom seating setup you’ve got there, or can that be purchased? I’d love details on that. Pretty cool.

you need a real BFH not a small claw hammer, a big impact wrench a big channel locks along with small ones and go thru and get sockets and wrenches that fit what is on your vehicle. no use in carrying ones that do not fit anything and you need some bigger ones that don't come in kits ie like 27mm etc, various socket extensions both 3/8 and 1/2 in various lengths and big pry bar is probably my most used tool offroad.. don't forget two torque wrenches one that goes up to 250 ft/lbs and a lower range one, mechanics gloves, something to lay on because it will always be wet and dirty when you break something, some hand goo crap to clean up with too.

biggest mistake I see people make is carrying tools that they don't need because they don't fit anything on their vehicles. I have seen many jeepers carrying spare drive shafts and axle shafts and then not have the tools to repair them on the trail nor the know how. I would ask people have you replaced them before and are you carrying an 8mm thin box end wrench or 36mm socket? Answer was almost always NO.

Also carry some booster cables and some 6013 rods that will get you out of a pinch if you know how to weld then get 7018 but if not 6013s will be your best bet

Pretty complete. I would add duct tape and a cheap multimeter. A butane soldering pen comes in handy too. If that is a box of wire terminals, add a crimper, although a side cutter can do in a pinch.

That current set of tools looks pretty worthless for working on a modern car. I see at least 3 sets of Swedish Nut Lathes (adjustable wrench) that are pretty much only good for throwing in anger when they either a) don’t fit or b) keep slipping.

As a starting point:
Sockets (Metric, hex, Torx, various extensions and wobble joints)
Stubby and regular length ratchet
Breaker bar
Battery powered impact
Ratcheting boxend wrenches (metric)
Knipex pliers-wrench (worlds better than regular adjustable wrench)
Deadblow Hammer
Plastic trim removal tools
Metal trim/clip removal tools
Micro flathead screwdriver (helpful for disconnecting electrical connectors)
Large flathead screwdriver
Medium flathead screwdriver
Large Philipshead screwdriver
Needlenose pliers
Metal dental pick/hook set
Dikes
Multimeter
Wire stripper & crimper
Wire and wire connectors
Fuses (check the PDC and make sure you have the correct types)
FiberFix
High Temp Self-Adhesive Silicone Tape
Zipties
