Tool Bag Recommendations

Amen. Have it towed. It has a warranty. When that runs out I will decide on tools or a new rig lol.

While I carry a few tools in my truck, they are for fixing stuff other then the truck itself. Kids football helmet cage came loose at the game the other night, had a screw driver to tighten it type of things.

I'll be honest, it's extremely rare with today's truck's that you will be able to fix anything that might cause you an issue with a set of tools so I don't really bother with many tools. Cell phone will be your best tool honestly.
Maybe add a good first aid kit (and some basic aid training if you don't have any). I've used that more then anything.

I still carry jumper cables but I find myself using my Noco GB70 Jump pack. If I only had room for one it would be the jump pack over the cables. At least I can self-rescue with it.

Most of the time my tools get used on someone else's vehicle. Or to tighten or fix a broken suspension or body component. Not much to do if something on the Cummins goes south.

I think RAM also comes with towing from the factory for a certain amount of years

Just read in the CP4 failure thread...Some member called for roadside assistance and no one answered.

Wasn’t sure where to post, but wanted to share. I have a 2019 3500 Srw with the HO Cummins and while towing my camper from PA to Mich. it left me and my family on the side of the road due to the CP4 failing. We were over 3 hours from home with no where to turn for help. Ram roadside assistance never picked up. So, after two hours we ended up finding a tow company to remove the truck and camper to a campground less than a mile away for $260. My wife had our trip all planned out with different campgrounds along the way and planned excursions that never happened. The truck is currently in the shop waiting on back ordered parts. It only has 19,400 miles on it. It ruined our vacation that has been planned since January and now I sit at home instead of being on a camping trip. Our excursions and campsites were mostly non-refundable, so we have had to eat those too. Where are you at, RAMCares? This is highly frustrating and makes me question what my next truck will be. The worst part is that Ram knew enough about the possibility of a failure to write the TSB for the repair, but why not just recall? This has ruined our vacation and a life-long customer

I called roadside service when my truck would not start. They sent a tow truck out for it 2 days later. Actually they sent 3 different tow trucks, the first two could not load a dually and the third guy was like “screw it, we‘ll put the rear wheels on some 2x4s to raise it up over the bed lip”. I’m not going to over-invest confidence in roadside service at this point.
