Haha, ok, I was exaggerating a bit, but how many times have you seen 3/4T diesels with a massive 5er hanging off the back? I feel like 75% of the 5ers I see are pulled by them.

There are many toyhauler 5vers under 12k GVWR. My 33 footer is.

It’s not GVWR that’s the issue, it’s pin weight/payload.

It’s not GVWR that’s the issue, it’s pin weight/payload.

I should have been more explicit. My axle weights, GCVWR and GVWR were all under the rated capacities according to the CAT scales.

Not everyone one has a Laramie or Limited.

From July of 2014 until April 2020 I had a 2013 Ram 2500 Tradesman CC SB 4x4 SO diesel 68RFE. I put 100k+ miles on that truck. Towing about 20% (had a long commute then). Tradesman will have more payload capacity the the other trim levels. I found 400-600 difference in the 2500s. 800-1200 pound payload differences on the 3500s.
