Terrible Towing pics thread

Not towing, but I could find where to post this. I scored about 152 retaining wall blocks on Marketplace for free. The ad was up for about 5 minutes until I saw it. Considering we are working on a project that required several blocks I jumped on it. I calculated wrong the weight of the blocks and unintentionally overloaded my truck. Anyway, the truck performed quite well considering the 1,000 lbs., over rated payload, even going uphill it didn’t struggle at all. Elevations from 6,500 to 7,300. The hemi rocks.

The truck itself doesn’t care about payload. Did you overload your axles or tires?

I used the wrong size block weight to calculate load. The free blocks I picked were heavier longer.

The truck itself doesn’t care about payload. Did you overload your axles or tires?

Tires are 3,638 lbs. e.a., not sure about the axle.
