just recently bought my 2021 3500 with 93k upon test driving i notice a whining/squealing on start up and also upon acceleration, the dealer told me they would get it fixed free of charge as a part of the deal so i took it in and they replaced the serpentine belt saying the old one was frayed. I go start the truck before leaving the dealer and it’s still the same sound happening, so i let them know that wasn’t the issue and they tell me to give it a few days might be the new belt needed worn in. i have another appointment set next week but the source doesn’t seem to be the engine bay at all and actually seems more like it could be coming from directly under the truck exhaust/ transmission area. any ideas?
