Snow Plow Prep Package on 3500s

Ill see if i can find a tag on my 19 2500 with HD plow prep

Thanks everyone for the replies and photos here. My door tag says I have a Front GAWR of 5500 lb, is that due to the gas 6.4? I crawled underneath and found my front spring tag and that has part # 68364560AA on it. How would one find out if the 68505948AB part number others have talked about on their CTD has a higher capacity. Looking at a MOPAR parts website there are a number of different front spring part numbers.

Thank you all for your help.. I was in another manufacturers HD truck for 20 years and loving my RAM 3500 more all the time..

Yes its due to the gas engine you are 900lbs lighter than us with the cummins

When I go to the MOPAR parts website, I find 31 different front springs (left side ) listed for a 3500, varying in MSRP from $103 to $187. How would one try to track down which one has the highest capacity (if they are different). Sorry for so many questions, snow will be here soon in Northern MN and I'd like to have the new springs before I put the plow back on.. Thanks all.

I would take the vin from a 2500/3500 with a diesel with the HD plow prep and snow chief pkg and use those springs as they would be the highest rated id assume

Pm me if you want to use my vin as i have both pkgs on my 19 cummins

I asked about this for my 2020 Ram 2500 because it has the Snow Chief package.

They said both vins used the same springs.
