Where are you located? I'm in Northeast PA. Took mine off at 500 miles and it's been sitting in the barn since. Feel free to PM.I’m looking for a new to me air dam, slid into a rock and gouged it. The only thing hurt was my pride. First assident at 251,000 miles.
Question for you Sir, Since removing your air dam (valance) what has been your mileage if you don't mind and also any other problems arise like overheating ? road debris ? or anything associated with removing it ? I'm still thinking about removing mine and wonder if the gas mileage thing is justified with keeping the ugly in your way thing on. ThanksWhere are you located? I'm in Northeast PA. I didn't really drive enough prior to taking it off to notice any difference. I work from home so no daily commute to factor in. I either drive small errands around town, plowing the driveway, or highway roadtrip miles. So, my mileage bounces from around 11 to around 16 mpg, depending on what I'm doing at that time. Although, I put on bigger tires and haven't fixed my speedo, so the number isn't accurate. Never any problems with overheating. Had that concern when I first took it off but after watching temps for a few days they weren't noticeably higher. I plow and do a little off-roading hunting and beach driving and I've never had an issue with debris. I have the Hemi though so nothing hanging out there like the diesels have.Question for you Sir, Since removing your air dam (valance) what has been your mileage if you don't mind and also any other problems arise like overheating ? road debris ? or anything associated with removing it ? With all that said, if you're doing major off-roading, the plastic valance probably won't save you. If you're doing major highway miles the fuel savings might be worth it. If not then the difference probably won't be noticed. For me, I'd rather have a clean look up front, especially since I would have had to modify the valance to fit my plow mount. Much easier to just leave it off.
So I emailed Fab Fours and their response was, we don’t make it if you want a guard you’ll have to have one fabricated. Guess that means I’ll get to working up something.

I see in their description you need to do something to get the front license plate on? I need one in NY was it difficult to get the front license plate frame back on? Thanks looks awesome.I haven't noticed a change in mileage or cooling performance. My truck is lifted on 37s so I doubt the air dam was doing anything though. I do like the extra debris protection the CJC guard provides the intercooler though. It looked pretty naked and vulnerable after removing the air dam.
