Looking for recommendations for adding hardwired USB C PD (45 watts or higher) outlets? Due to time, and factory power limitations, the factory USB outlets won't cut it.
II need to add 2 in the rear of the truck and 2 more to the front. I've looked into a power inverter, but really don't want to go that route as it is unsightly and not really the approach I want to go. I will be adding a power inverter, but that is being reserved for a higher draw device.
The USB C PD ports will need to work for iPad and smaller laptops at minimum.
I'm currently looking at amazon, but everything they have is either a plug in socket for a cigarette lighter, or a drill a 1" hole and have this monstrosity that has it's own volt meter. The drop in plug I can use on the upper dash to power 1 device, so that takes care of one.
Still need a solution for the remaining front plug. This will be mounted low on the center stack (truck has a jump seat and open cubby)
The rear plugs, I need one for each rear passenger - 2 max.
Has anyone found a clean looking solution?
