Price negotiated from MSRP

Could try to find a dealer that will accept the fca affiliate rewards coupon if you qualify for it. That gives you 1% below invoice
Sounds like many of these guys are doing better than FCA Affiliate pricing.

Yeah most of us did way better than that but the OP was asking about a dealership in California. All the dealers out here are charging MSRP or a few thousand under

Lasher CDJR in Elk Grove (near Sacramento) advertises $3,500 off MSRP for all of their 2500’s. That’s the deal I got from them about a month ago, plus another $1,000 off with a marketing voucher directly from RAM. They were not willing to budge any further on price.

I'm probably missing it, but how are folks going about getting the FCA $1000 "private offer" vouchers? I assume you have to sign-up somewhere and hope they mail you something.

You sign up for a brochure on the RAM website, look around on there for a "Request more info" type page. Scrolls back a few pages, the link gets shared fairly regularly.

Cool, thanks! If I happen to get one and order a truck, do you know if it gets applied at time of order or when I take delivery?

I think I clicked this link to get mine. I never received a mailed brochure either lol. They will email these incentives out occasionally. I received two in 5 weeks, both with a 6/30 expiration date. I forwarded the first to my dealer and he applied it to my order yesterday. They cannot stack, so its just one $1000 rebate.

I got one of the $1,000 bonus cash allowance emails but it expires at the end of the month. I’m not looking to order until next month. Hopefully, I can get another one sent.

Unfortunately, I don't know for sure. I got lucky and scored one a week or two before delivery.

New member. I am considering a 21 2500 Tradesman 6.4. It is a crew cab, 4x4, 4.10's, Level 2 pkg, off-road group, etc. Sticker is $49,065, dealer is offering $3000 off plus any applicable rebates. Given the current environment, is this a fair price?

Most dealers around here have no 3/4 tons on the lot or want MSRP.

Sounds like a good deal. Get Truecar for some more off. Maybe also ask if they throw in a couple years of oil changes?

Yes, that's a fair deal for an "on the lot" vehicle.

Hey there fellow BITOG’er!! I recognize your screen name from there.

As others have said, this is a pretty good deal for a dealer stock truck. You can get better pricing by ordering through a few dealers, but then you have to wait several months.

Here was my deal. Bought (factory order) in February and just picked up two weeks ago (lots of delays).

Got another $100 off that because I had to drive in from out of state and the dealership had a problem that cost me a non-refundable hotel room. They were good about it.

Love the truck!

Really good deal, aside from them adding back in that $899 processing fee. Luckily they were starting you around 12.5% off MSRP before adding back almost a point. Nice they covered the hotel night on their screw up.

Thanks!
The key takeaway is the rightmost column on the build sheet. FWP means “fleet wholesale price”. That’s invoice. HB near the bottom is the dealer holdback. So the deal was 6% below invoice. I never started from MSRP. We started from invoice and went down. Very fair deal. I gifted them the doc fee. At some point you just close.

Where did you buy from?
