Price negotiated from MSRP

I placed an order 2/15 and got about 6.5% off invoice. Would highly recommend.

Thank you for the information and encouragement Sasquatch.

I've been stalking your experience and just Jame's posts in this thread. 6.5% off invoice would be awesome!

I just called FCA about incentives. Nothing available for March on the HD trucks. She said to call back on 4/2 and check April incentives. I did find out and I'm pretty sure the dealer may have let this one slide......that I get $500 conquest money for owning my Subaru. Something is better than nothing.

Do not forget to check PENFED and usaa, as well. For current owners, ram is sending incentives via email.

I wasn't even aware of those. Anything special to do or just sign up? Does it need to be a current Ram? My 2002 in great shape should count!

The PenFed and USAA require membership status for at least 60 days.

You're basically going to go through their car buying "service" which takes you to Truecar and send leads to dealers. You in turn get an incentive. They do expire, so you have to time it.

Can't speak to the current owner offer.

Thank you Bigwalnuthoney. I'd be prefer to be transparent which hasn't worked over the last month..

I have reached out to Philip Olson at Bud Clary and shared that I had been referred to him.

Haven't had any success with Tacoma Dodge, Larson Puyallup, CJDR Enumclaw, Autonation Bellevue and CJDR Renton.
I just made a deal with Larson for a 21 mega cab 2500 $67015 MSRP for $62884 +TTL but they are giving me $45k for my 2020 1500 that I bought from them a year ago for $45 OTD. KBB high trade in is $40,800. Couldn’t drive home with it because of the stop sale recall.

I am in Western Washington as well, and it sounds like the best deals are within a day trip of here? Auburn, Puyallup, Kellogg, Boise...

This chip shortage thing is clouding the issue, so I am probably going to wait until the dust settles.

Ya I’m sure once inventory catches back up when the shortage is over then dealers will make better deals with the excess inventory. Larson told me that because of the chip shortage they don’t have new trucks coming in and are paying good money for trade ins like mine. Started at $40k for my trade and settled at $45k. If any of you guys want to go to larson I’ll get you set up with the salesman I used both times.

I've been looking to upgrade to a HD diesel truck for 2years now, not sure what brand (GMC,FORD,RAM) to go with. Last month I decided on a Ram 3500 HO Cummins Best deal I could fine was at almost 10k off on a 90k truck. I placed a order yesterday an hopefully it will be here by this June.

I'm seeing the same in Washington State. They're holding to MSRP. Are folks really getting 6% off invoice or MSRP?
It would make sense that a dealer would stick closer to MSRP if the stock is limited. If there is a demand, then I imagine people would pay that for what is on the lot. However, do you find that this would apply to custom orders as well? Do you usually get more off of the price of a custom order since there are no other buyers for it, or do you get less off since they are ordering it just for you?

Ever dealer i spoke to thats above Seattle told me due to the shortages, they are selling over msrp and not honoring the tread lightly affiliate discount of 1 percent below invoice. Luckily for me, my local mom and pop ram dealer had a 2500 in stock that checked most of my boxes so I was able to get that for 1 percent below plus incentives, which was only 750 in coupons and 500 military. The beast pre order deal I got was from auburn ram in Seattle. But time frame didn't work out.

It seems like due to the shortage they arnt budging on sticker.

If you're military/vet you should have used USAA incentive. You do have to be a member for 60+ days.

FYI for anyone reading, you don't have to have any products with USAA to be a member if you qualify. Just sign up so it's there if you ever need it.

Same goes for PenFed. You do have to pay$5 to fund an account, but I never did send them the $5 and still have access.

Has anyone been offered fleet pricing if you're a business owner? A dealership I was at today said with proof of a business they can get me fleet pricing which would be another 3k off.
