Price negotiated from MSRP

Are there any good dealers in Georgia?
I always drive Fords but I'm getting a Ram 3500 Laramie Longhorn Megacab or Crewcab Dually 4x4 because of the Cummins and interior.

I would like to say thanks to all the recommendations to contact Dennis Dillon in Idaho. They were incredibly friendly and helpful. I'm paying invoice - 1/2 holdback in Denver. After analyzing the numbers Dennis Dillon would have saved me about $2400 if you don't count the cost of flying out there, probable hotel room, fuel, and time lost with 3 little kids(this being the biggest factor as I spend too much time away as it is....as I write this from hotel room...) it wasn't enough of a discount for me. Another factor is that if the truck comes in with anything wrong, it could be even more days.
For those wondering, Dennis Dillon came in at invoice-holdback-$3000, BUT you need to use their outside financing which has a rate of about 4.5% for 36/mo, you can't pay it off early for the first 6 months and you can only put 10k down. That comes to an interest cost of $1400 if you pay it off at 6 months. Its still a good deal and the interaction I had with them was nothing but honest and up front.

Congratulations, beautiful truck.
Looks like you did quite well with rebates...
Myself and I assume others on here would like to know which rebates you were able to get.
Thank You. Here is a list of the rebates totaling $3,500.

$1,500 Manufacture pop up from the ramtrucks website
$1,000 Commercial owner coupon that came in the mail
$500 HD Engine Bonus Cash for Ram 2500
$500 Not sure where this came from, but after I told the sales manager we were $1k off, he met me in the middle and I had an additional rebate. However, I think it had something to do with year end clearance.

Also, before year end, I was getting pop ups everytime I opened the website. So I requested other rebate codes and sent to my other emails (different codes). So if anyone wants to see if you can use my unused codes (with my name on them of course) feel free to send me a message. I'm not sure if they will work, but it might be worth a $1500 try.

Even though I haven’t been able to pick up my truck yet due to shipping damage, this is what I ended up with. ($1500 pop-up unavailable with EP)
2021 Ram 2500 CCLB Laramie 6.4 HEMI
MSRP $67,230
EP $59,786
HB $1,964
Salesman was able to find me 1 $500 rebate, not sure what it was though.
Negotiated price $58,535
About 13% off MSRP

Not sure why, but it seems you lose a lot of negotiating power when you get employee pricing, along with a lot of the rebates...

So you guys are getting under invoice pricing? I’m thinking of going with the big horn and swap the headlights and hoping there’ll be some rebates by the time it’d be built. I’ll be glad to be back in the Cummins. Had a 16 but had to sell due to living location at the time. Bummed I can’t get a used 19-20, don’t want the fuel pump worry in the back of my head

Depends on the dealers around you. There are lots of places where the affiliate prices are going to be the best that you can get (particularly in CA because it's a closed market), other places you can find dealers that are willing to negotiate under that because they'll give back some of their holdback and bonuses to move. But it's all dealer specific and the more dealers you have to choose from the better.

The interesting point is why anybody would buy at anything more than affiliate pricing.

About ready to pull the trigger on this. Best deal I've found.tempImageJDDIGb.png

I’m way over in Florida unfortunately. I’ll try the high volume dealer in Lakeland
I'm way out in Northern California. Why these local dealers will not play ball is beyond me. Even with having the truck shipped to me, the price is much better than anything I can get here. Shipping to Florida couyldnt be that bad.

4.5% is awful right now. I got 2.9% for 72 months. I hope they are getting a healthy spiff on that.

But the real reason I came over here. I was just checking for an option since the Mopar Owners Site isn't currently loading. I went ahead and built and priced by truck. I have a 2020 and used the 2020 option on the website, put in exactly what I had, and MSRP is $4k higher than what it used to say and what was on my sticker back at the end of September. And then coincidentally the base price advertised right now is just a couple hundred difference between 2020 and 2021.

Did they jack up the MSRP on 2020's to make it look like less of a price increase on 2021s? Or make you guys think you are getting a better deal when comparing discounts to 6 months ago?

I double checked my selections a few times.
