Upon delivery the dealer inspected my trade-in once again. It took him so much time I was getting prepared for a fight. When he finally came back, he said, okay, no adjustment needed. So I guess they are pretty much set on a price when you order but if ever 3 months later something changed on the trade-in they might want to renegotiate the value. I mean you are still using it during that period and **** could happen.Question for those of you that ordered your trucks. If you have a trade in, do you work that out at the time you put your deposit down or once your truck is delivered? Reason I ask is I see the used car values increasing now and wondering if I can lock a trade in price with the dealer now or if I am at mercy of the market months down the road when the new truck is delivered?
