Price negotiated from MSRP

Feeling pretty good about the deal I got. 2019 Laramie 4x4, Tow pkg, off-road pkg, bedliner pkg, 12" Uconnect, had two choices.
1). $10k off sticker with 3.9% for 72 months or
2). $8k off sticker with 0% for 84 months. And no payment for 90 days.
I went with option two.

Not sure if your deal is different from what I had researched but I would look into it if I were you. When I looked up the no payments for 90 days, it sounded really great until I found out that the interest is still accruing, wich was a no brainer for me not to do, but that doesn't mean everyone's situation is the same. Hope the best for you.

Thanks Rich. I pulled the trigger last week. And for me it's zero interest so nothing to accrue, LOL.

Well duh, , I'm all jacked up sorry

I did my Rich impersonation a few days ago and tried to hold out for more money and it cost me a sale on my old truck.

Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered...

(sometimes).

I think the truck I was looking at got sold. No matter, dealer wasn't returning correspondence to my offer which was a split between my trade and their price. Probably a good thing, immediate future looking bleak. I was going to get a tradesman with everything I needed, in my color, but wasn't meant to be. The search continues. At least my opinion of auto dealers hasn't changed...…….LOL!

Haha, Holding out for more goodies .... Rich's twin ..... Having fun at the noobies expense huh? Sorry for the delay, The wife and I took the day off yesterday to get the garage ready for our NEW TRUCK ! We made the deal Wednesday night knowing we couldn't pick it up until may 15th because of Maines "pause order". Well, we woke up Thursday to find out the Governor of Maine opened up dealerships May 1st, So I called the dealer to confirm and we leave tonight at midnight for an 8 hour drive. Pretty excited coming out of an 06 F350 6.0 MSRP 86,870 and we settled on 77K plus 4 installed OEM mud guards. I wanted to hold out a little more but the wife was throwing fits. It's a deal, It's a deal .... blah blah blah, lol .....

It can definitely sometimes back fire on you. Sorry to hear that man. After my first deal stalled out in 19 because end of year lack of parts, we went through a 2 month hiatus were we never talked to the dealer, then one day out of the blue they emailed. Guess they needed to make a deal with the devil cuz sales were down. You just never know when the odds are going to be in your favor. The rewards are worth it but the anxiety over the long haul is debilitating. As you all know on my lack of temperament over the final time frame. o_O

Congrats Tom, have a safe trip. At least you'll get your break in miles on the way back

How do you all handle the out of state negotiations? I found a 2500 Laramie v8 in Texas for $10,000 off dealer discount. One way flights from Florida to Texas are around $118 right now. Debating getting a deal like that, flying out and driving 14 hours back home ;)

I did all my negotiating via texting with a salesman. After the deal was made their financing manager called and 45 minutes later it was ours. What my dealer did was fed-ex overnight all the paperwork to me for signatures. Then it's just going to pick it up. :)

I reside in south Dakota but we travel. We We're in Galveston Getting ready to head toward Cali when I made a deal to good to pass up in Arkansas. So we changed plans and stayed in Arkansas for 3 months while the truck was built abd i can order all my accessories. I understand that most dont have this luxury. We did everything online, even passing the deal back and forth. My big advantage was that I did go into dealership to have us all sign and to commit to the deal no matter what. I would caution a little bit. There has been just a couple on this site who flew out to get there new rig and the dealership knew that and had the upper hand on the final transaction day as they know that you have committed to flying out and that you need a ride to get home. If your going to proceed, I personnely would not tell them my plan to drive out and drive back in a small time frame. Tell them some bull like your staying with someone during the negotiating time and how ever long it takes is what it takes, so they know that you will not be pressured. Just my opinions, take em or Chuck em.

At a boy, crash the gates an go check her out incognito

Thanks, had a local dealer locate one 50 miles away with the closest config but was still way over what I wanted to pay. He really didn't even try to do better, I guess it's because it's not on their lot. Asked him about ordering, he tells me once the factories open up we can talk about it. Guess they are not in need of a sale. That's why I started looking out of state.

Having one built is not as easy of a sale for them and the work and time they put into a build and customer is not as enticing to them. They like it when a buyer pulls on the lot and sais that's the one. Also just an fyi. If another dealership within 500 miles of the dealership your dealing with has one that your interested in, your dealer can work with the other dealership to swap one of there's for the one your interested in on another lot and get it over to your dealership. I've done that one before.

Yep, I am aware of the dealer trade but they were only knocking off $3000 only from the MSRP. Going to see what May 1st brings in way of incentives for the 2500.

In Feb we picked up our new 2500 that we ordered. Yes it took 3 months (I think the air suspension was on back order) but it is definitely worth it to get EXACTLY what you want. In our case finding a loaded Mega Cab with a Hemi (and not with the Black interior) was pretty much not going to happen. Got 7k off on a 77k sticker with mud flaps and RAM floor mats thrown in. Really sucks that there are no rebates on the HD's, only special financing. Now that Saltillo is reopening you should be able to order again. However I don't expect deals will really improve. During the shut down I am sure they were able to sell off a good amount of existing inventory. Plus there was already a backlog on orders. Best of luck to all. However I ask you, with as much as these truck cost, why settle for anything less that what you really want?

I live in TX but purchased my truck in LA. Did everything over the phone, took about 15 minutes. The emailed electronic documents that I electronically signed. They then delivered my truck to me the next day. I doubt they would deliver to FL, but I will say that is the easiest and fastest purchase I have ever made.
Give them a call you might be surprised.
