Price negotiated from MSRP

I can't wait to see what cap design you go with and how well the paint matches. Every time someone gets a new rig, its like I get the anxiousness all over again in excitement
I'm getting the Leer 100XR - Carpeted Roof, Removable Sliding Window & Remote Lock.
My last 4 trucks (Ford, Chevy, Dodge & Ram) have been silver metallic and their Leer shells have matched perfectly. Hoping this 5th one will too. Will have pictures next Thursday.

I finally had one of the local RAM dealers I had visited earlier this year build out the 2500 I wanted. Looks like no additional percentage off offered from invoice pricing. Should I be looking for another 8%-10% off invoice?

15% off MSRP was my sweet spot, but that's hard to get to when ordering a truck. I settled with 12% off MSRP & any rebates on delivery to get the order going. It helped it showed up on the last day of the month and dealer gave me an extra $1,750 off to take it ASAP, ended up at 15% off on delivery.

So in your case, try to get them down to around 54k. This is how you do it.

Call up Kim Sims @ Superior Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM - Sales: 501-229-9336

She'll probably be the one answering the phone. Tell her you would like to have a build priced out. Give her your info and the truck exactly how you had the other dealer build it. She will email you a deal in less than an hour in your email box. It will be about 2k lower than your dealer gave you. Take that deal to your dealer and tell them they need to beat it by 1k or your are going home to order it through Kim. I was 100% set on walking if my dealer didn't. You've done all the work, they will still make something during the loan/trade-in deal. This is the best way to get a fair and confident deal. Hope this helps.

Yup, that's about right, got mine 15.5% off msrp. Carl is right, that same senerio is what worked for me but on the trade end of the deal. I almost got retail for a16 model trade. Once your dealer knows your willing to walk, they'll start to give a bit more

Subscribing. Just joined the forum today. I can’t believe I didn’t sooner - I’ve been a Tundra and 4Runner forum guy for a long time and these groups are touchdowns for advice / info. I’ve been hunting for a 2500 Laramie for months now... keep expecting there to be an apocalypse pricing deal but all I’ve seen is 0%... my biggest struggle honestly is deciding between a new Bighorn or a used Laramie. I wasn’t going to buy new (have an 08 Tundra, starting to tow more weight) since I just bought a new trailer, but my search for 2-4 yr old Rams showed me for $10k more I can get (almost get) new... will see what May brings for incentives.

For those getting the $1000 USAA - was that going thru USAA’s website or something the dealer can add in?

Also, anyone look to see if a Bighorn with all the options clocks in below a Laramie? I mean, group 2, tow tech, etc gets (i think) MORE than a Laramie (minus two things: leather and ventilated seats) for less doesn’t it?

To bad you didn't join sooner, I could off made you a deal on my 16 2500 6.7 w/ rambox. Was in pristine condition and only had 43,000 miles on her.

USAA and pretty much all the incentive deals require membership. For USAA and Penfed it's 60 days. It's found through the USAA car buy service under Products. The next page will show you a link to Truecar's incentive. You just have to tolerate a lead generation through Truecar and getting harangued by a bunch of dealers. I also used my preapproved USAA financing offer to beat up the dealer for a better rate.

From what I have seen from the buyers sheets people have posted, Employee Price is about 11.5% off. When I finally get around to negotiating I will probably ask for a little over 15% off plus incentives. That would be employee price and hold back taken off. It seems like a lot of people have gotten that, so that's where I plan on starting. Just my two cents...

After a long wait, truck is at the dealer. I got it about 14% below MSRP, which is a great deal, but feel with recent events perhaps there's more to negotiate?

I'm not interested in any deferred payments, but rather super low financing or additional monetary rebates. I saw 0% for 36 months on the RAM site and can assume this is for very select models?

I'm just trying to see if I can go further here or just be happy

Not sure if there is a catch to this price, but this is the dealer I bought my 2019 Ram 2500 from back in January. Lance Welch is the salesman I dealt with and Cory Bunger is General Manager. I only see this amount off this particular one.

Looks like it is 71k not 61k.

Me thinks 20% is not at all out of the question.

I also think things are gonna get much worse. We are in a soft rationing of meat products at the moment, some areas lockdown extended through jun 15th. This is bat---- crazy!

Finally got our 2020 2500 that we ordered back in November! Local dealers were finally able to reopen with skeleton sales crew yesterday. Our sales rep and his manager were super apologetic about the delays. We felt good about the final price, saving us a bit over 12% off of MSRP. And they matched the Zeigler price on an extended MaxCare warranty.

Did it show uo to your satisfaction as you built and w/o damage?
