Price negotiated from MSRP

I bought off the lot. I did price a build at Earnhart, and they would not lock in the MSRP. I never went to Chapman because the last time I looked they had mandatory adds. I also had a trade this time and you never know what that value will be in 3-4 months.

For anyone shopping on the east coast. I shopped every dealer and Koons of Tysons Corner actually beat MD by nearly 2k. I recently ordered a 2022 Big Horn fully loaded, HO long bed.
Who is the contact at Koons?

Koons of Tysons Corner
2050 Chain Bridge Road
Vienna, VA 22182
Ordering Manager: Craig Benner
New Car Director: Erica Ramsey
Contact: [email protected]
[email protected]

Craig responded to me from the group buy email. One of their posts says to only use that email so they know you are a forum member. They are on many. Deal is 6% under invoice, $899 proc fee.

Unfortunately the blind spot monitors are not currently available to order so I'm going to have to wait a bit. No interest in adding that after the fact.

I just contacted Craig at Koons via the group email address and he got back to me within 10 minutes. Unfortunately his response was that they cannot sell vehicles to people in Massachusetts which is where I live. Not sure what is so special about Massachusetts but that is a bummer. I tried Ashley two days ago and have not heard back. Both Chapman and Koons would be geographically preferred to Mark Dodge but I may have no choice but to contact Sandi and plan for the 1700 plus mile drive home. Will give Ashley another shot today.

Try Miles from Dan Cummins in ohio/Kentucky. He's usually on the ball.

I'd give Ashley a little more time or send her another email. They're all probably quite busy. I believe I had to email her twice.
My new Ram 3500 has an msrp of $81,800. The pricing I have received with all fees and ALL in, ( besides my local taxes are), are cheapest first:

1. Craig with Koons Vienna, VA $72,572.
2. Sandi with Mark Dodge Lake Charles, LA $72,783.
3. Ashley with Chapman auto group Horsham, PA $72,823.
4. Amanda with Granger Motors Granger, IA $73,273.

1A. Renee with Gupton Motors Springfield, TN $72,350 My new lowest price and it's price protected. Price includes $100 fee to join Tread Lightly for 1 year. Also must finance at least 25K of the truck for 7 months then you can pay off.

Dealership in San Diego wouldn't budge on $89K MSRP saying they DO NOT go below due to economy. Started working with MD and was given $78 on same build...had to do that awkward breakup thing with local dealership for a better deal.
That's an absolute no brainer!

Do you have Ashley’s contact info? Is that Chapman Ram in Yuma?

Thanks!

Note that Chapman of Horsham apparently will not price protect any of their Stellantis or Ford orders, per the owner on the Ford Tremor forum. This means that if the price goes up between the order time and delivery you will probably have to pay it. Be sure you confirm this before placing an order with any of the dealers.

That's what i was told and the reason i did not place an order with them.

Good news. There’s a group of us that ordered Fords and weren’t informed - we are likely going to get hit with $1300+ surprises from Chapman in Horsham.

It is my understanding the Chapman was pretty competitive in Scottsdale, did you send a build to Andrea at Chapman?
Here in Scottsdale Arizona I got $2450 off of a $74800 Ram 2500. That was the best deal I could find in the southwest, found some in California that had $10,000 mark up and a dealer in Las Vegas that would not sell to anyone outside of Nevada.
Reach out to Andrea at Chapman. @AndreaChapmanScottsdale

How much are dealer fees at Gupton?

Hey all - just wanted to share my experience this past week working with "Granger Ram". First I'm located in CA and in early 2021 I sold my 3500 SRW back to a local dealer for more than what I bought it new in 2020 - pretty common story I know.

Anyway I've been looking and watching for anything worth moving on for used ('19-'21) 2500 but most of them are previous rentals and still selling for more than MSRP when they were new! Anyway, I saw this thread earlier in the week and contacted "Granger Ram" in Iowa. They were exceptionally easy and responsive on my (multiple) build & price requests. I ended up with an order on a '22 2500 with the options I wanted and price came in as they advertised, 4% under invoice ($68K for my final build). For the 2500's in my region that I had been watching, that meant about $5k-7k less for a brand new factory ordered 2500 than what dealers were asking for used 2500s.

Just thought I'd share and give a public "Thank you" to Granger for being easy to work with and patient as I think I sent 8 different builds for pricing.

How much are dealer fees at Gupton?
The fees at Gupton are $499 doc fee, $7.50 for a 30 day temp tag, and $100 for the Tread Lightly membership. By becoming a Tread Lightly member for 1 year you save an additional $630. I included all of them into my pricing above. All of my prices are "all in" besides tax which I have to pay to my state of Wisconsin
