That's not bad at all. I'm just thinking for me, if I'm building the ultimate towing machine, I personally don't want to sacrifice theoretical gear ratio. But I also do hate the smaller tires, I just choose 410 over wheels

Yup, that's the problem. I've got a whole list of add ons I've got in my cart to order when the truck gets here. Weather tech floor mats an mud flaps, chrome tow hooks, chrome hood defender, chrome sunroof air dam, car care kit, touch up pen, chrome fuel tank door, an the big one, my 30 k fifth puck hitch witchI got a discount on. It all add up to a few more G.oh yeah then another G on trailer back up camera system an trailer tire psi valves, where does it end, I've got a problem I know.

Don't get me started.

OK, well..., maybe

Just to date:
New puck base for my Curt A25
Taylor Wing low profile crossover box ($$$)!! Ouch
Reese Gooseneck ball and chain kit (I will probably never use, but a must have)
2-low wiring kit
Tires

Haven't decided on all-weather mats, need to see OEM first, but probably Husky
Leaning to Gatorback mudflaps, they're just so damn pricey

Man o man I love them gater backs, I just can't get past the price tag, I just can't do it, but woooooo weeeeeee there good looking

Rich and Brutal do you have part numbers for this stuff?? My reorder will be in in a few weeks time to go shopping

Hahaha, that's funny. I know for a fact, we know more than the sales people do about these things. You shouldn't have to tell them what's out there an what's changed. I guess that's why we know so much because we had to learn it so that we would end up with what we actually ordered. Thats like when they advertise it as being able to haul a 35,100 trailer but the truck they advertise it on has rfe an 373. Just makes yah wonder how many people buy one thing but expect another

I have ramboxes on mine that's coming but I'm still over here looking up the Taylor Wing that brutal posted just to stay educated. I'm quietly taking notes.

my trade in has the ram boxes, I assure you, you'll love them, they hold a ton o s$%t.

Make sure you're seated when you see the price. That doesn't include freight and they're 6 weeks out on orders. I assume one of these over the rail would not fit with a rambox, they do have flush models and fuel/box combos.

I looked at this, the Curt, and the B&W. Liked the release on this over the Curt and did not like the B&W price. That handle on the B&W sure is beefy and cool though.

FYI, I don't buy much that I haven't checked prices with camelcamelcamel. Check it out.

That's allot for a dang tool box. On my current trade in with ram boxes I used to have a fuel tank picked out that was specifically for the ram box because it can't over hang sides at all an it was really crazy high, like $1800. On fiver hitches, I personally like the b&w companion the best, it just looks so beefy built, wich I like, but its only rated for 25k. So the wife talked me into getting the oem mopar 30k hitch. Wich is pretty nice but about 50lbs lighter than the companion. What's wered is, I've done extendsive research on the 30 k mopar. Curt makes it, wich its an awesome brand but I contacted curt an asked them Abbott the 30k puck hitch an asked them. I see you make a30k head but your puck legs are only rated for 25k. How can ram sell a30k system an are the legs really rated for 30k. They told me that the oem mopar curt 30k puck hitch was specifically made for ram an you can not find those legs rated for 30k any ware on curts site.

I found the tank, my bad it's only $1350 haha. Called the fuel box tank/tool combo .

A friend has the B&W Companion and they are a solid well built and popular hitch. He loves it.

When I got my A-25, I only had bed rails and no gooseneck setup and did not care much for the design of B&W Patriot. Love the Curt. It hitches and unhitches effortlessly. I love that all I had to do was buy a $400 puck base off Amazon to convert it over. If I had to do it over and already had a gooseneck mount, I would probably buy a Goosebox instead.

To be honest the only reason I went with the ram 30k mopar/Curt hitch was because it was rated for 30 instead of 25. That companion is just so much beefier than the mopar 30k. It's hard to look at them side by side an see where the companion has less rating.

My humble option is the rating falls on the support arms for the head. It's very cool that they are adjustable, but I think that may give up something in the capacity. That or perhaps the jaws? The Curt does have the overlapping jaws. That said, I haven't looked at the puck model of the B&W, nor have I stayed at a Holiday Inn in a long while.

I guess we can't go wrong with anything rated for 25or 30 k. I was thinking also with the mopar, fca couldn't really say, well that damage happened because you didn't use an oem approved hitch. So im just playing it safe i guess.

All right guys, just got late breaking news from my salesman, not a huge deal but thought I'd pass it on. The extendable rear bed step that goes under rear bumper. Its being held up for all because of the corona pandemic around the world. He said what will happen is, it won't come on the vehicle but you will get a voucher for it so later on down the rd when they get them in you can go to any cjdr an have it put on for free ., or take the buy out of the price of the part + add 15% for the inconvenience. I also asked if he thought they (at my dealership) can just give me the buyout price offmy finall deal, an he said he would check on that. I will be copying an posting this to several threads that I watch.

Yeah, I almost couldn't order my truck last week because the Bed Utility Group was unavailable for selection due to this. Our workaround was to get the bedliner individually ordered and verified the LED bed lighting was provided in another package, which I got. So I'm having mine built without the step. I figured the supply chain disruption was the problem, but that was just an assumption on my part, sounds like you got some confirmation on that.

Yup, I could care less about the step. Just picked the bed utility group because the bed liner an led lights priced separate was the same price as the group price, so essentially you get the step for free. I priced the step on mopar an it shows $335, a my salesman said add 15% to that, so I'm trying to just get them to knock off around $400 on my final price. I'd be stoked with that since i didn't care about the step anyway.

Take the money and get the AMP step if they're available.

There seem to be AMP steps available for 2019s, but nothing specifically for the 2020 - I assume that's due to lack of testing, not that anything has changed between the model years, though. For $260 or whatever it is, I'll give it a shot.

I would probably call them first. I saw a unused open set for sale here or another board that I don't recall. No idea why, but it makes one wonder.
