I seem to be killing the particulate matter sensors like crazy , I've replaced this sensor and a couple others and have less than 40k miles on my truck, anyone else have these issues?

Whats your truck info? I see you just signed up, maybe put your basic info in the sig line so people can see the model year, 2500/3500, engine, etc, before offering any advice.

Check your wiring harnesses back behind the cab. Specifically where they cross over the frame rail. Common pinch point. Could be causing electrical issues with the sensors.

Sorry , here it is .
2019 Ram 3500 HD 4x4 DRW 6.7 L Bighorn , 37547 miles currently, I purchased this truck new , I had zero problems with this truck until I had all the recall's serviced (at about 29000 miles) at 2 different dealer's just over a year ago. Prior to that I had driven the truck across the country towing my 43' fifth wheel, this truck is and always has been my daily driver, I use this truck every day. But as of recently ( last year and a half, after the service of all the recalls) it's been throwing codes like crazy, and eating sensors. NOTHING mechanical has failed, just exhaust sensors failing ALOT. Every dealership I talk to or Mechanic says that it's just parr for the course with the newer modern diesel's. I've had so many issues and continue to have issues that I have considered deleting the truck. Is this going to be my only option. Codes : P24C9 , P2459 , and a couple others. I have also replaced both of the sensors related to these codes more than once.

Repeated sensor failure is definitely not “par for the course”. It sounds to me like something went amiss after the recalls were completed. I’m assuming one of the recalls was the Y78 recall for the CP4 pump and the other was the ZB6 emissions recall?

Correct, that was 2 of the 4 that were done , the other was the rear bed step bracket and the 4th was for lugnuts.+

Thanks for the info and all your help, I guess I'll need to schedule another appointment to have them (Dealership) check the work (updates that are software related) for incorrect install's or possibly wrong software. I had also filled a official complaint with chrysler, they had me take it back to the dealer for more diagnostic's (about 6 months ago), but of course the dealer couldn't find anything wrong so Chrysler said that they couldn't do anything if they can't find anything wrong with the truck. I replied with all of my service paperwork from all the sensors that I have replaced (8) in total some more than once as I stated before and I'm awaiting for his response to that. If I can't get help from Chrysler on this then I'm at the end of the road of what I can do, so the only thing left for me is a full delete, and I hate even the thought of that to be honest, but I will have no choice if I don't want to spend a small fortune on repair's , as I refuse to sell the truck after waiting and saving my money for almost 10 years to finely get one.

Hello
I’m at 75k just go the p24c9 and p24b5 code. Trucks running fine and did before. Left the gym parked and then remote started about 1.5 hour later the light came on and read the code through the banks Idash. The banks is still seeing the dpf% and when I drove home it did change the went from 95% to 96% I would hit regen tomorrow on my drive to work. I did just order a sensor and will call dealer tomorrow but how long can I drive with this. My truck normally regens ever 700+ miles so she is pretty healthy between cycles.

Just an update. I was able to clear the code with the idash and I restarted the truck several times and it has not come back. Ill still ring the dealer tomorrow

It’s been raining for days and the fog was crazy tonight. I wonder if some moisture got in there. Drove truck a few miles then restarted several times still seems ok

Seeing dealer on Monday the CEC came back, But the truck did the region with the CEC on so it seems unaffected. Im pretty sure this is the CA recall sensor that was installed 2 years ago under the recall. I guess im happy it's at least not affecting anything other than the CEC light lol. All ready want to put a piece of tape over it LOLOLO
