Official 2025 Ram HD

Yes, info is coming from anonymous sources. I think we've been very good about protecting them and withholding details we had insight into until internet chatter started heating up about them.

Believe me, there's plenty more that I cannot divulge.
Maybe you can divulge this. Have they improved the wretched emissions system? I never should have sold my '18 for a '22.

I do not understand how TFL has such a big following.

Either way, the thing I'm most surprised about is the change in engine block material. Thus far, I've not heard of a single problem with the block itself, and the CGI block resulted in weight savings, so I'm curious why they would revert back, if true.
We can speculate all we want, but 99% of the time it comes down to cost.

I don't know if the CGI block was more/less to make, but have my suspicions. If the cost savings through mfr and the weight savings didn't provide any measurable benefit or help them meet some emissions reg, why continue to spend more to make it?

Assume that "all" will be revealed on/about the eve of when the 2025s can be officially ordered online, yes?

Defintnley not. They want to keep some things secret so you can't order the secret items.

Kidding!! Come on now!

Order banks are open. You can order one now.
You just can’t build one online yet.

My guess is that the big reveal is going to take place at the Detroit auto show in January. Ram has put on quite a show there in the past. They unveiled the current generation truck there back in 2019.

No doubt they’re filming all their Super Bowl commercials right now.

Does anyone with an order in have a scheduled build date yet? Mine still shows TBD.

Does our insider know for sure if the Detroit Auto show is for sure the roll out?

I'm a bit intrigued about people ordering vehicles not having a clue as to what they're getting.
Historically it’s shown to be a bad idea.
Especially when there are loads of new features being introduced. When the 23 ordering opened up, there were a whole lot of people who ordered a Laramie with the fully digital instrument cluster.
Their builds were either delayed substantially because of a lack of communication between the factory, the dealer, and the customer (because the factory was waiting for an “ok” or an order revision since packages changed at the very last minute). Or worse, they watched a Laramie with no fender moldings and no digital dash roll off the auto carrier. (Because both features were pulled from the Laramie at the last minute) You’re much better off waiting until all the trims, packaging, options, etc are fully established.

New electrical/canbus architecture, 14” screen option, possibly passenger screen

Any idea if this is a new canbus architecture for the world, or just RAM getting around to implementing it ?

I am just guessing that they are buying most of it from the usual automotive suppliers that build them in large numbers vs something developed internally - but that is just speculation on my part.
