OEM Battery Life?

From the date my truck was built, the batteries lasted 3 years 3 months and 4 days. Cranked fine twice that morning then nothing. I thought it might be the starter but luckily not.
 
RAM put a second set of batteries in my '22 with 26k. They have no idea why the truck keeps going dead.

I ask this because NAPA is running a Labor Day sale and I can get 2x Odyssey 94Rs with 3 year warranty for ~$550. If people are only getting 2-3 years out of OEM batteries, it seems prudent to go ahead and swap them out now.

Generally 4-5 years.

There’s a TSB about an ECM swap for certain ones of the 22’s. Im not sure which months are included.
 
The P2509 code would not go away so I got rid of it with my ScanGauge. I ran it for 4 days and it never cleared itself.
 
Here in AZ most get 2-3 years. I personally get Interstate batteries from Costco and take them in to be replaced before the 3 year warranty is up regardless whether it last that long or not, in which ive only had 1 battery last a full 3 years and replaced it a month prior.

I disagree. I live in southern AZ and my batteries last 4-5 years.
 
At 3.5 years my factory battery was weak, wouldn’t even pop the tailgate. I replaced it with a Duracell AGM (made by east penn)

I replaced the battery in my 4 wheeler with a Duracell AGM 4 years ago and it’s still going strong. Up until that point I was having to replace the Honda flooded battery every other year.

That of course would be after they replaced the radio, RF hub, BCM, amplifier, 2 DPFs, differential pressure sensor, air box assembly, MAF, 2 sets of batteries, trailer brake controller, DEF assembly and I don't remember what else. Now it's decided to randomly not show 1 or 2 tire pressure sensors.

Now I'm intermittently getting a shudder on shifting (Aisin).

After our October trip I'm ordering a new truck. Don't know whether it will be another RAM, a Ford or GM. I've never had real trouble with vehicles. This '22 is a disaster. Bought MOPARs since a 1969 Dart. Stellantis may just well break me of that. Fortunately I have a good dealer. They're frustrated with them too.

The TSB said something about a bad component in the ECM that could randomly shut the truck down without warning. I may have it at home but I’m in SLC right now.

Those Odyssey would be an awesome upgrade IMO.
 
Just replaced the batteries in my 2020. I got a low battery on my center screen a couple weeks back for only a couple seconds then it went away. Yesterday truck was dead, click, click...
Costso in So Cal does not stock them so I went with Walmart's Platinum AGM. Lots of good reviews and 4 year replacement warranty. Never had a
Walmart battery so we shall see.

That’s what I would have used had I been at home. I just picked the easiest place to get to close by where I was. 1K miles from home is not a good place to have to start working on the truck. Also had a flat on the trailer that day and Im still not sure which state I was in. Near Four Corners.
