New 2024 leaking fluids

If the T-case seal is found to be leaking, is it ok to continue to drive the truck until it can be fixed assuming 4wd is not used and the leak isn't so serious that the T-case runs dry? I would think so, which is why Im a little confused as to why some of you fellas are leaving your trucks at the dealerships and driving loaners while waiting for the back-ordered seal.
Is your case wet? As in like the fluid had been leaking down the side of the case.
My case was also wet, I used a couple of cans of parts cleaner on it, fingers crossed it stays dry.

Is this leaking seal issue affecting both the Cummins and Hemi trucks or just the Cummins?

I’m currently going through the same thing my ram only 5000 miles. I have to wait until Monday to take it to the dealership

Funny, I am seeing this issue with other brands as well. Did the t/case seal company just start pumping out bad seals to everyone all at once last year?

Following, I'm in the same boat with output shaft seal leak at 2500 miles. Took it to my local dealer Shottenkirk and they were pretty incompetent. They said didn't find any leaks. Finally got the service advisor to look under the truck with me. I showed him where all the oil accumulation is at the T-case and said "no leaks huh".
They didn't seem to know what to do. I asked will parts be ordered? So I guess I'm waiting to hear back when needed parts will be available.

Same situation here, 20k miles, mine has been leaking for a while and I just never caught it. My dealer is couple miles from my house, I have an appointment for this Monday. We had some inclement weather coming in so I stopped in there on my way to the store and asked if they could just top it off for me as it was low. They wouldn't top it off, they wouldn't give me the fluid or even offer to sell me the fluid? I could have got plenty of coffee and donuts though for what that's worth. Weird times in the auto industry. I'm hoping for a quick repair.

If your vehicle is currently at the dealer for service, please reach out to us. We are more than willing to see where we can provide support to you.

Does Ram really care, because based off my experience with my dealer they couldn't give 2 ****s less. The dealer hasn't even called me to tell me the part is in yet when I know it has arrived.

Just noticed red oil leak on my ‘24 Rebel Diesel.
Will double check tomorrow with daylight
No good

A few leaks were found by an independent diesel specialist while getting an oil change on my 2024 Ram 3500 as I’m in the middle of a cross country haul with my travel trailer. They suspected both t-case and transmission.

Mine was completely soaked like that as well.
After using four cans of brake cleaner clean up, & A little bit. Of time, We found the rear output shaft seal was the culprit.
I replaced it myself with a new seal under the old part number. After about a month it started leaking again.
The local dealer Finally got the new seals in under the new part number and haven't had any problems since.

Do you know what those new part numbers are? I want to replace mine but would hate to get the old part number instead of the new updated part.

I have the receipt at home, it might be on there. I'll check when I get back there at the end of the month. However I do remember it wasn't the typical Mopar number with the AA or AB, just a number.

That would be awesome thanks!

Definitely T-case output seal.

The fluid on the engine adapter plate and inspection cover of the Transmission may be the CATS rust preventative that they spray on to the block for shipping and storage protection. I would recommend wiping it off with a degreaser or solvent and then see if it returns. View attachment 71561
Haha, they said aluminate, they probably meant illuminate but aluminate is a word. Darn spell checkers...
