Lets see what you are towing!

The salt eats the crap out of it. One of these days I have to sand blast and paint it but for a 2011 its holding up pretty good considering the work its done
Can you guys stop hijacking our boating thread? :D:D:D

Just kidding, hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Based on what you want to do, fast cruising without WOT much if at all, I wonder if you should have stayed with an upgraded Bravo1 that would drive deeper and have less slip, rather than the Imco. Then again maybe it wouldn't handle the hp you are putting out.

I haven't crashed, but 2 things come to mind. My old '63 inboard, which maybe hits 40 at wot, has a tendency to dig the bow into waves at high speed, will toss you across the seat or against the gunwale depending on which direction, hard. I know people who have broken ribs. And jet boats, if you lose power at high speed, will swap ends quickly, nothing in the water to keep the stern behind you and a 600 lb engine wanting to move to the front at the same time.
Yet the horse power was why the IMCO lower is there. Also that wasnt an upgrade by me, it came with the boat when i bought it, dont feel like spending the money to get a new lower lol Id rather just take the 30p from my buddy. All the work in it i bought as it. Surprisingly they guy i bought it from gutted the engine with forged internals and slapped a whipple on it, put 13 hours on it and sold it. So fairly brand new engine.

Yeah V bottoms like to be nosed up, when its leveled they ride terrible just like that when it has to eat waves/wake. Thats what happened to me, 2 ribs cracked, bottom chin/jaw split opened and had to be stitched back together (i essentially had no bottom lip and could see through to my teeth), lost a bottom tooth, my forehead was black and purple with a goose egg severely concussed, not fun. And again that was at 35-40 cant imagine any faster. Lost steering over wakes on the jet boat and into the jetti of rocks we went.

Ouch, that sounds awful. People might think 35 mph isn't fast but all that momentum will do some damage.

Helped my bro-in-law with some road side assistance about an hour away from me. He was hauling a small load of steel up to Schertz from the RGV when his truck crapped out on him. He couldn't find a rental so my truck came in handy. 1,045 mi on the ODO, she was ready to tow, somewhat of a light load, but nice to put her to use.

Sled trailer has been neglected the past few years and needed tires when I bought it in 2015. If you haven’t wrestled with 10 inch trailer tires in a while I say give it a go…..it’s fun. I wanted to keep my galvanized rims and not go with the traditional White replacement wheel so I cleaned them up with a wire wheel and mounted some new tires and valve stems.
