Let’s see your wagons with 35 and 37’s

The stock Duratracs are metric 285’s not US 33” tires. I had a ‘14 PW & now a brand new ‘24 PW, both came with same OEM tire. The ‘14’s Duratracs measured 32.75” at about 14k miles before I swapped to 37’s & the ‘24 Duratracs measured 32.4” w/ 200 miles before swapping to 35’s.
i always find it funny that the PWs get such small tires. The Rebels come with Duratracs in 285/60R20, which measures out to 33.6”

Been through this thread multiple times debating whether I wanted 35s or 37s and waiting for the day my stock tires wore down so I could upgrade. I really wanted 37s, but went with 35s for practicality reasons. So, here are 35x12.5R17 E Goodyear Duratracs. It's dirty because ski season.

As much as I would like 37s, those 35s look perfect, and fit my needs. When my stock Duratracs go, I'm going to be going with 35" AT3s or Baja Boss ATs - not positive which yet. I spend every weekend in the mountains, but the hum of the Duratracs piss off the wife.

Do you have a straight side shot? Looks great and might be convincing enough for me to go 35s instead of 37s.

Any problems fitting the spare tire in the well?

Hey guys, so I'm planning on ordering some method 704s next week. And while I internally debate on whether to go with 35s again or move up to 37s on stock height.... I was wondering something.
I realize that 37s help with diff clearance and just overall look so much better than 35s, but I also realize that 37s give you slightly better approach/departure angles due to the increased height the tires bring. But this got me thinking, Has anyone ran 35s on their PW with high clearance bumpers?
I was curious what that would look like and if it would have a benefit to clearance for offloading while maintaining the practicality aspect of 35s (full size spare in stock location, slightly better fuel economy, etc).

Here's my Lunar Edition with Method 704's and 35x12.5r17. Toyo RT Trails. They're much much quieter than the stock Duratracs. I think probably overall a better tire than the MT's also. 37's definitely fill up that wheel well better, but I just felt like you start running into too many complications once you bump up to 37's. I'm not sure it's worth it for me. Carli Pin-Top suspension goes on tomorrow. Can't wait!IMG_2907.jpeg

IMG_2970.jpegIMG_2971.jpegChanged my mind and went to 37's!
You guys convinced me. The 37's look so much better, but you definitely step into a different category. The move from stock 33's to 35's - couldn't hardly tell a difference in driveability. Going from 35's to 37's felt like the entire vehicle changed. Definitely requires more throttle and braking power. You know they're on there, that's for sure! I don't know if it's worth it or not, but I'll find out. I took one of the 35x12.5r17 Toyo RT Trails, and mounted it under the bed as a spare spare. It JUUUUST squeezed in there inflated to 10 psi.
I'm getting CJC Molle panels for the bed, and I'll mount a true 37x12.5r17 vertically in the bed on the bulkhead molle panel with a Badlands 3 ton jack. I don't want to do a Rig'D hitch spare tire mount because I'll lose my rear camera, which comes in very handy with the SmartCap.
Now we're starting to get somewhere!!
