The accessory rail (track) is part of the XR model only. I bought the Pro (all metal construction) since it comes with a limited lifetime warranty as well (and got a solid discount from real truck).<br /> <br /> Visually, you can’t see any daylight between the rail and back of canister weather stripping but that doesn’t mean **** when I’m in heavy rain. I did notice, during install the bed is made to drain in the cab side front corners. I have not sealed those holes yet either.<br /> <br /> OA</div>

Our truck beds have super thin metal there and I couldn’t get torque without the bed metal yielding. <div class="bbWrapper">What is the gap between the rail and the bed lid? On my current softtop, the rail meet the lid directly so the clamp is squeezing both together. Only a foam tape is in between.</div>

The c channel has worm screws in it to fine tune to ensure the rail is parallel for the full length of the bed. On yours, it looks like it&#039;s opened by at least an inch, with nothing in between (just an air gap). I can always loctite the bolt if needed. It&#039;s close enough that on the front and rear I think it&#039;s o.k. Just a little too different when they are side by side...</div>
