I was teasing. I have and enjoy bothwell depends on how well built either is. box stock I will take a Rubicon, but yup built yota's of all variations can go about anywhere. Have a buddy that built a T100 and it gets it done. He is on 40's now I think he was on 37's here but still really capable.
First is the rear seat room itself. Soooo much more comfortable than the CC. I hate the way the rear middle seat is indented in on the CC. When we go camping with guests (usually Sister-in-Law and her hubby) the extra room provides comfort for the long drives (seats actually recline a bit). Also, there is enough room for somebody (even two if they are not two big) to sleep in the back when you put the seats down. Also when we need to haul stuff that needs to stay dry, or just need the room, the back area just gobbles up the stuff. Its the old saying of better to have and not need than to need and not have. Regrets? None whatsoever!

If my friends are moving trailers for business, I get paid. If they are picking up a piece of equipment, like a rental, to use on their property for a project, that's different.
Then again, I seem to have a lot more "friends" when I have an empty truck bed. Sure I'll help you get the TV back from Costco. Can you remind me where we met?
You must be looking to keep the truck dead stock because your problem is easily fixable. Take a look at Thuren or Carli suspension for your solution to having the Cummins and off road ability too. If you are really brave you can be like a few of us and make your diesel even more reliable and fuel efficient as well. Just spend a little more time researching and see just how comfortable you are with the aftermarket. The options are very exciting and once you get comfortable with researching and getting the best parts on your truck.. you can truly make it exactly what you want. Whether it is an AEV Cummins with Carli suspension and an extra 100hp that gets 21mpg or a luxury land yacht that rides like a pillow while towing 20k+. My answer to your question is get the Cummins and turn it into your perfect rig.
ps. if we all were making decisions purely based on the money and what is logical financially then we would all have tradesman's with only the bare necessities. Buy what makes you happy to get out of bed and work to pay for it
