I'm changing the fuel filter and the water separator on a 22 Ram 2500 6.7, 68RFE, first time since I bought it with 54k miles 3 1/2 months ago, 63,814 mi now, work truck miles.
Anyone have thoughts on filling the new filter with Stanadyne injector cleaner ?
I used to do stuff like that on our older '90 & 92 IDI diesels with noticeable results -
Put a concentrated dose of injector cleaner into the injectors & leave it sit overnight, etc
This of course is an entirely different machine & I sure don't want to take a chance of harming the newest truck I've ever owned.
Thanks guys
