Front valance necessary?

Looks good! Did you have to swap anything from your factory valence?

Mine still hasn’t shown up yet lol.
Shockingly, no. I just reused the nuts that go on the studs and two push pins that came from the old one. I was expecting to have to buy all kinds of clips and stuff.

Mine finally showed up today. Had a couple of minutes this afternoon so I swung by and picked it up already.

I should be able to get it tossed on in the next day or two before I drop the truck off at the dealer this Saturday to get the batteries replaced, had to jump the truck the last couple of mornings. Hopefully they can just get it done under warranty without much hassle.

How much was the part and what's the part number? Would it fit a tradesman?

Part number 68618777AA.

If you order through the Mopar eStore and have it shipped/will called to your local dealer it should be around $60 plus tax. If you try to have it shipped to your house you’ll get quoted something ridiculous like $200 for shipping since it’s an odd shape/size.

It should fit any current model 2500/3500, regardless of trim.

Two of the nuts are a pain to get removed. Post it up when you get it installed.

Planning on swapping it tomorrow. Effective January 1 my state longer requires a front plate, so I’ll be leaving that off of course.

yeah, I just removed my valance this afternoon to bolt in the plow push plates. Those two nuts behind the brackets sucked. At least once they were loose I was able to easily spin them off with my finger tip.

To those of you that have removed your valance and still have the license plate bracket in the factory location, how are you mounting it?

Hi all!

Just picked up a ‘22 2500 Bighorn hemi 6.4 and I can’t take my eyes off of her. There’s a few things visually I’m wanting to address.

I would like to remove the crappy misshapen plastic front valance from the underside of the front bumper and am wondering if it is necessary for me to replace it with an ‘intercooler guard skid plate’? Obviously there is no intercooler to protect on this truck but wondering if whatever is behind and above also needs the protection? Everything else seems pretty far up and back enough that the protection at that angle wouldn’t make a difference but want to check if anyone has any advice on it.

Thanks for your patience with me. I’m a newb and this is my first post!
Not necessary-- I have the 6.7L Cummins, but doesn't matter. I took off and put metal plate on, ref CJC Offroad...

Ive been thinking about taking my front plate off. I go back and forth

Swapped over to the PW/Rebel valance last night. Took about 30-45 minutes total.

Like others mentioned the 2 nuts right next to the intercooler were kind of a PITA. Also removing the 2 plastic rivets on the underside of the valance was a little tricky.

My son is going to use his 3D printer to make some fill plugs for the license plate holes in the bumper. I’ll paint them to match before installing.

With a steady hand and a hot knife, you too can make your non-PW valance like a PW one or better!
I was thinking the same a zip disk goes through like butter you could easily carve it out and save the cash for a different upgrade… missed that it was 60$ its not worth the effort for that little of money

Yeah, I'd end up trying it myself and then spending the $60.

Anyone have recent luck ordering this from the e Mopar store? I had placed the order (fyi dealer shipping was not available as an option anywhere). Bit the bullet to have it shipped to my house for a grand total of $215.

Just got an email from Mopar though stating they canceled my order and are issuing a refund.
