Flooded 2023 RAM 2500

I am at dealership and checked with parts department. They said there are only two modules outside of surround view module: memory seat controller 68534876AC and heated seat module 68592513AA. And the guy at the counter thought that heated seat module could be the one I need for digital rearview mirror. I doubt it, but wanted to double check.

If the truck is a 2023, and it’s factory equipped with a digital mirror, then there is a 68508050AD camera processor for it under the driver seat.

Not sure why it is called forward facing camera. I searched it in many ways in google and mopar side with no success ‍♂️

One last error code. I think this is the reason for traction control and ACC errors.
I goggled it and only thing I found is that this could be Occupant Restraint Controller issue.
Jimmy, I hope you could shed some light on this. Same thing here, I was not able to find it in Mopar store.
I changed out airbag module below center console, I am not sure if this sensor is part of that and needs a calibration.

Run the abs initialization routine

Through AlfaOBD?

Yes, same thing has to be done if you change tire size.

Do I need a special cable to initialize it? I remember that I used this cable to play with AlfaOBD, but it was on 2022 Ram. Just checking if 2023 truck needs a different cable.

That’s the cable for a 1500 and other FCA vehicles (like my wife’s JT). You can use it, but it’s a PITA to connect.

This is a much better cable, and yes it’s still needed.

Is this cable better because it has dual OBD ends or there’s another reason?
it’s better because to use the red one you have a picture of you have to remove your speedometer and have small hands to disconnect the security cables and plug this one in. with the Kaodtech you plug it in to the bcm which is located behind the headlight controller. So you can pop out the headlight controller and see exactly what you’re doing and you don’t have to use any tools.

The CAN-C and CAN-IHS blocks on the HD to plug in the preferred style cable are between the dash and firewall and easily viewed by pulling the headlight switch panel. This will help with reaching up from below to plug in the cable.
