It is quite loaded truck actually and I think it has all the modules that you listed.

What about all electrical connections, wires and modules that are on exterior of the truck? I guess they can be affected too, right?

Also how reliable the Ram app? I am getting a health report with everything green since yesterday.
There are some large inline connectors behind the front wheel well liners, I would check those for moisture. Most of the modules on the outside of the truck are for emissions, you have two NoX sensors, one mounted to the turbo side of the block, the other is ahead of the rear axle on top of the SCR, there is also a PM sensor at that location, there is a DEF control module on top of the DEF tank, and possibly a couple modules on the rear bumper. Since these are mounted on the exterior they should be watertight, but I would at least unplug the ones that were submerged and check the connector for water

They found that water got into transmission :( and now they are changing transmission fluid. Already went through 2 cycles and we may need another 2-4 to get rid of remaining water.

Also some connectors are found burned. Can these connectors be purchased separately from mopar?

Just get a new body harness and instrument panel harness. That corrosion from saltwater has already traveled up those wires. The person doing the work should already have the interior stripped down to the metal, including the dash, so they’ll be easy to swap out.

Wow, I didn't realize the extent of the corrosion already, I originally thought it was flooded with fresh water, but I guess not. Like Jimmy07 said, with that much corrosion a harness replacement would be the best option, that corrosion will wick up the wires and you will have endless issues.

The water in the transmission is not good at all, even if you flush it out the damage is likely already done, water will tend to delaminate the friction material from the steel clutch plates. You will just have to hope for the best. The axles likely have water in them too if you haven't checked yet.

Are these two wirings that I need?

The harnesses will be VIN specific, if you buy from one of the online mopar sites be sure they look up the part # by VIN, some of the harnesses will vary depending on options
I checked them against my vin. I just wanted to know if these are what I need.

We ended up with just replacing the connectors to Airbag Module and seat controllers. Airbag module was also replaced.

Update on restoration process.
Replaced items:
  • Driver seat adjuster and wiring
  • Airbag module
  • Memory seat module
  • A couple of connectors to modules
Camera Processor Module 56029967AF is damaged and ordered.

What doesn’t work:
  • Digital rear view mirror. We will check after Camera Processor Module replacement.
  • ACC. Will check after Camera Processor Module 56029967AF.
  • Traction control signal is on
Once surround view camera module is installed we will find out what else is not working.

ACC won’t work if there’s a traction control issue. Those two are likely related.

That’s what we think too. I wonder if not having working camera processing module 56029967AF will also disable ACC or traction control.
I found two parts on ebay for camera processing module: 56029967AF and 04672644AJ. Is the second one compatible with my truck? I know the second one is compatible because it came off from my truck.

The 046- part number is for 2019-21 (with UConnect 4), and the 560- part number is for 22-24 (with UConnect 5).

Are there a separate ACC and traction control modules? It is possible that they are also damaged by flood. If anyone knows the location of those we could probably check them out.

I’m 90% certain that ACC is depended on the DASM in the windshield.

Any chance your steering has any issues? If the truck thinks the steering angle isn’t correct that will break traction control.

I think it is an electrical issue, but not excluding possible mechanical problems. The truck was flooded and so far all the problems were found to be either the modules or wiring.

The new module for surround view is installed and all cameras displaying separately, but surround view is blacked out.

Any thoughts? Is there another module that works together with surround view and rearview mirror cameras? My digital rearview is also not working.

Here is the link to video that the guys in shop made:

Need to calibrate all four cameras to the new surround view camera processor to get the overhead surround view to show up.
There’s a separate camera processor for the digital mirror under the driver seat next to the surround view camera processor. That might have been damaged too.

Is there any way to calibrate surround view at home or it has to be done at dealership?
