Etoimos' 2022 Power Wagon Build

mine is 1565 lbs of payload but it does not take anything for that to get eaten up. by going to 35's I ate up 125lbs of that paylad. adding sliders probably another 100lbs, tranny skid 35-40lbs etc. it all adds up.
a very light GFC and a load of weekend camping gear threw me over by a fair amount.View attachment 32159View attachment 32160View attachment 32161
I know you posted these in this thread today, but have you posted them elsewhere recently or am I going nuts? Could have sworn I just saw them recently on Facebook or some where not that long ago.

I didn’t think so either but they said they could.

I don’t think the dealer can lower tpms threshold.

They can. When you go bigger tires like 37s with TPMS any Ram dealer can calibrate your Speedometer and change the settings for the TPMS. Most 37s have a max tire pressure of 50 which is well below the OEM Duratracs setting of 60.

Depending on your dealer, it usually cost $150.

I'll keep the cost in mind. Bet I can convince them to eat that one seeing I'm buying two brand new rigs from them........

Fake News. I went to get my Uconnect serviced and asked about this and they couldn't change the TPMS settings. Did not ask about the speedometer calibration. The tech I spoke with did say that a different dealership could do it, but I should call ahead and that most wheel and tire shops are about to do it.

Or we could just do it ourselves with using that app or a Procal Snap.

yup. RAM will not lower psi because of liability RAM will only calibrate speedo for biggest tires that come on a particular vehicle ie PW do not come with 35's so a no go. There is a TSB regarding this and the stupid thing is they will calibrate a Gladiator for up to 37's but not a RAM. I am not going to search and pull it up but I posted it somewhere at sometime just don't remember where. If a dealer does it they are taking a liabilty risk and are using an outside source ie AEV procal or tazer or alfaobd etc.

See this is what I had heard before but they said they’ll do it so we will see. If I need to get a pro cal snap i will. I do have a bypass harness and alpha obd too but I just dont want to screw with it. Also why don’t we need a pin with these new gens?
